You're wrong about the Bench Press, because in MMA on the ground the Bench Press is pretty good. You can use it for framing, pushing your opponent away from you when he's taking you to the ground. And if he's on top of you, you can push him up so you can push him into your half/full guard. Also you're wrong about the Squats. Squats only help in wrestling, but not in kicking, it makes you rather slower. So only add it if it benefits your fighting style.

Assault bike is so demanding when you go all out and the bonus is you do not get so sore from it compared to sprints. I personally do it before mitt and padwork for 10 sets of 10 sec, 20 secs rest
I've been doing a lot of landmine work - shoulder press and landmine deadlift. this style of shoulder press has been better at targeting my core and the deadlift has been giving me a crazy forearm pump.

I have 0 idea how to fit plyometrics into my weekly routine. I lift 5x a week, do MMA 2-3x and swim a few miles as well. Adding plyo seems impossible.
