Believe this is the issue with mine, been a little curious over it. I've replaced these before on other cars but this one is odd.
Start it any time of day, first start it will 75% of the time jump to its high rpm idle like they all do to warm up, but the engine shakes horribly and sounds like a diesel unless I rev it and hold it around 1.5-2k for a bit it'll clear up and idle fine then, or if i Just throw it in drive, floor it one or 2 good times right away and it smooths out fine.
Then through out the day as I drive, its fine but at some stops it'll jump idle up and down a good I'd say 100-200 rpm difference at random, not always, and when throwing it back in park after being gone all day, it'll surge almost stall and has stalled some times but thats super rare.

Before you changed it, did you hear a loud vacuum sound here and there coming from this area? I am thinking my air idle control
    Is bad as well.
