There's just something about that frantic violin that really ties in the urgency that is this piece of music. Combined with the booming percussion to signify impending doom and the overall collapse of your surroundings, and you get this escape theme. And then the introduction of the blaring horn to show the most unwelcome distraction at the worst of times. This theme says it all and so much more!

REmake 2 gets a lot of criticism for its 'lack of a soundtrack', but I'd like to argue that when this fantastic game does utilise music, it does so spectacularly.
The problem is that this soundtrack works fine to be as a background music. But the original just melted with the gameplay, it really made u feel the tense and nerve they want u to feel. Good gametrack, but doesn't work that well, it doesn't have the "impact" that the OG ST had.
