The scariest thing is that you hear his theme without knowing where he is
I literally shitted my pants when I hear his theme but he’s not in my field of vision😂
yeeeeeesss Omg
in the sewers it was super scary to hear it again
Yep. It’s terrifying.
It is hard not to know, especially with the thudding footstep of death
The fact that he's named T-103 makes him feel like a freakin' Terminator.
His name on wiki is T-00
@@datsorde1132 T-00 is the name given to the group of T-103 that were droped in racoon city
His name is T-00, and he is a T-103 series Tyrant.
There were 6 T-103s deployed by helicopter into Raccoon City, Mr. X was T-00. The others were T-01 to T-05 and they can be seen lying dead at the treatment plant at the end of Resident Evil 3.
@@datsorde1132 Like the terminator T-800, he says he is model 101
You don't know what despair is until you hear this theme and don't know where Mr. X is
I know exactly what you mean 😂😂 the feeling of dread is overwhelming
Real
Perfect alarm clock noises :D
I never even heard this before
Mr. X looks like an older mutated Dolph Lundgren. :D
I like how he doesn’t give a fuck on what situation he’s in, he’s coming to get you no matter what
This is actually a love story
@@enzonoire better than twilight
pretty sure zombies don't have emotions, thus no fear.
@@theotv5522 Tyrants like Mr X, nemesis, damnation tyrants do have a little feelings and are not as dumb as regular zombies and lickers.
@@wildlifeisthewealthofnatur5457 Yeah, he has an emotionless face through most of the game but when he mutates into his super tyrant form he gets this expression of pure hatred. He was completely sick of Leon's shit by then.

his theme’s so overwhelming, heavy and dangerous it fits his character so well, maybe because he’s a 7 foot hunk of silent strength that kills for no reason other than the orders from above
Under the command of umbrella corp: No witnesses
i prefer x dont give to ya
@Ángel man 0 XIII You mean "X gon giv it to ya" you noob. Get it right.
You ever notice how some of it kinda sounds like the sounds of something heavy thumping around on a hardwood floor? Or banging on a wall? He's coming to get you. He knows you're in that safe room.
It’s No Rhyme or Reason
If anxiety had its own theme this would be perfect
Believe my anxiety wasn't doing so well once I started hearing his theme lol
This dude seriously made me plan out my escape route before shooting at anything. I had to make sure I remembered where Lickers were still alive at and avoid those rooms while running. One time when I wasn't playing with my headphones on, he came out of a door I was about to go through, and I felt my soul almost leave my body.
Don't feel bad, I'm a hardcore B**ch when it comes to RE2 Remake.
I pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition on PS4 when it was a week before it's release, but when Mr X finally showed his face, I'd completely shut down my console.
It wasn't until they released the unlimited rewards pack that I finally had the gall to complete the game on Hardcore mode.
Right?! 🤣🤣
From my experience, I was at those stairs that go from Level 1 up to Level 3 in the police station and I heard his footsteps. I kept looking around trying to pinpoint where he was coming from only to be bashed down by him from behind me. My soul left my body so bad it took a screenshot.
I remember losing him at a point and never heard his footsteps afterwards.
Until I went into that dark hallway where the shutters by the Main Hall were opened, I turned the corner and only had just enough time to process that it was his silhouette before getting punched into Caution.
@@Angelo_X_2045 I did the same thing. If I knew I'd run into zombies while going somewhere, I'd plan out my movement incase mr x showed up. One time I hadn't run into him for a while, and when I was on the 2F hallway going to the east door, he just steps out of it. It sent a whole tremor through me 😂😂 this mf had me on my toes, sneaking around the station like a mouse lmao
The scariest thing about the tyrant is that he is actually always searching for you even when your not near him
Searches in an area, not the whole pd, bc the devs wanted you to see him often, like he will search the west area of rpd if u were there and only there
I think he was just expressing how cool it is that the actual Mr. X stays present on the map even when he's in areas that aren't loaded in, like he is actually programmed to walk around the RPD in search of you and hone in on key sounds. He'll even stop in place like "What was that?" and head towards wherever commotion is being caused.
... Which is a lot cooler than how they programmed Nemesis in the Remake who will literally just teleport on top of you.
@@Impalingthorn that explains why nemesis felt like cheap bullshit
@@Impalingthorn Even if you lost him and he's far away from where you are, just firing an unsuppressed weapon will attract his attention and he will arrive in a minute or so.
@@johnsomebody3627 I mean to be fair you can make the argument Nemesis in the original RE3 also teleported for his encounters but the difference was that which encounters you get were random, and due how big the map was between both uptown and downtown it also sort of adapted to how you played and what missions you did first. And even still he was the first enemy in any RE that could legit follow you through multiple rooms without stopping. For RE3 remake though, because of how linear the game is and how small the map generally is, that limits the amount of actual encounters for Nemesis, Nemesis will always spawn in the same places at the same time, unlike the original which besides key moments, some of his encounters randomized.
i once walked into a save room and still heard this...
Have u ever peeked out the door to see him stare at u 😫
Oh no he's right behind you
if you save in the lobby while he's near you he will most likely spawn close to you and no amount of reloads will spawn him elsewhere.
He's near that place
All you gotta do is wait for a while and then peek around,
And ofcourse run for your dear life
first time i played i was just so scared to leave lmao
I always love the way he just bumps any zombies out of his way while trying to get to you and they just fall over limp like a wet noodle. XD
Getting bitch slapped by a 7ft 400lbs+ bipedal tank will do that. xD
You know. It kinda helps you when he does that.
@@JarekSSJXify that's an ACCURATE description
I was the linen room and was trapped by a zombie (was doing the challenge for infinite ammo) and hope the ai would favor me but Mr x walked right in trying to punch me but missed and hit the zombie escaped but got killed by the licker

It’s crazy how Mr. X is slower and weaker and yet more terrifying than nemesis.

@@sariahoque Man. If only Nemmy was scarier than Mr. X. Or Equally scary. And he follows you everywhere.
RE3make Nemesis only actually stalks you for about 10 minutes of game time.
@@seafoodcocktail Wrong he stalk you half of the game until you try to go the train then he will be scripted but he always stalk you when you are at the downtown streets. Also Normal difficulty is like easy . The normal difficulty in RE3R is the hardcore one . Nemesis is more scarier he faster and jump from nowhere and suddenly with a terrifying speed. If you spend your time at downtown you will feel the tension. Also remember RE3 is Action horror more than survival (both original and Remake)
Jesus Christ...!
Jesús stay back!!!
RUN JESUS RUN
What the fuck?
JESUS TAKE THE CONTROLLER
Something tells me he's not a cop.
I'd say that Mr X works so well as a stalker type enemy because he is hard to slow down, is absolutely dangerous and terrifying, yet he remains fair and consistent. He never charges at you or does any surprise bullshit moves. He just follows you until he is in range to connect his fist with your spinal cord or facial area.
I don't remember feeling actual frustration when he appeared, unlike with Lickers and the Cerberuses.
before i played the remake myself i watched some people on yt play ist and never found mr x that scary. when i played it myself... hoo boy
i think the scariest part is how so much aspect that in the game makes him work really fucking well.. too well even
though when you actually face him he's goofy as fuck. hands down the best enemy in any game that have been released for a while.
when you play as leon and you go to the interrogation room to brag an item and then leave he will most likely jump scare you by breaking the walls which is scary since it doesnt always happen and when you try to run past him he throws you back to where you were and if not careful he would grab you (when i got grabbed i had nothing to save me) better have flashbangs and/or knifes to help
His theme really has the Terminator vibe.
I think Mr. X is based on the Terminator (which makes Nemesis the T-1000)
That was almost his name, terminator
@@jazz265 no, the T series existed before 103
the worst when he works it really looks like Terminator and he chases leon like in terminator 1 where he chases sarah connor🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@sulwater7642 It's an accurate inspiration :]
the scarry thing about this game is that he is following you everywhere, it reminds me of that regenerating monster from Dead Space, he was the scariest aspect to that game
Its even more terrifying that he can slide off the ladder once he sees you.
I absolutely hated that thing in DS2. Made the end of the game so annoying
Everywhere except save rooms and a couple of others where he's just programmed to strut around the doorway XD
One scary thing about him is that with weapons like the grenade launcher you use it on most enemies and the damage it does to them you wouldn't wanna be on the receiving end of that but when x takes a direct hit it just pisses him off
Just sounds of his steps, when you'll hear and will freeze in the dark rooms
The scariest thing when you hear that and you don't know where he is 🙂
And can climb up the ladder if he sees you.
One time I though I outsmarted him by going down the ladder
I was sorely mistaken
@@briansmith2739 I was so shocked when I was him climb the ladder lmao

This game is GOTY in my heart
Re2, Death Stranding, or SSBU would've been better than Sekiro. I dont know why it won lol
Real talk, all of them are great games, and IMO was a toss up between re2 and sekiro (sekiro IS a goated game) but why death or ssbu? Death is more movie than game and ssbu is a fun casual fighting game, not rlly goat material
@@JohnJohnson-ev9qn re2 should have won imo
Great game, but i don't think it's GOTY kind of game. I don't know if it was a budget issue or something else, but i felt like this game kind of settled and didn't go that extra mile that would've made this game a masterpiece and a true GOTY.
@@sv69n nah sekiro better than all of the games released in 2019. any fromsoft game is goty worthy.
Mr X is literally the best thing they did in the remake imo. I remember being a kid, playing the original game and being scared to death Mr X would come out of nowhere anytime. The remake made him even more terrifying by making him actually stalk you.
Just then don't be angry at RE 3 remake why Nemesis and Jill didn't used in RPD.
im afraid of going to the bathroom at 3AM and hearing this ost out of nowhere
Sadly we live in a world where tyrant is more scary than nemesis. What they did with tyrant is amazing.

This is such a cool music for a cool Monster like Mr. X
0:44 part the the drums, goes sooo hard, I get like a boost of confidence and the fear goes away when this part plays
*OH LAWD HE COMIN*
When I first played this game I didn’t know about mr x. So when he first showed up I had to pause the game for a couple minutes
I played RE3 when I was young and didn't know X was in the game before, so I when I saw him in the remake my first words were: Please be unarmed. Didn't stop from hitting like bloody truck
Mr X. is not from resident evil 3 He's from resident evil 2.
I can't unhear the footsteps getting *louder and louder*
The bit where you’re Ada and he comes after you and you have to use the visualiser to unlock the door but then also to start the giant fan to escape him. This music playing and hearing his footsteps getting closer , I swear to god I was on the edge of my seat trying to make sure the visualiser locked on to the right parts in time 😂😂😂 they really did a great job building tension with this remake , which was a big part of the original RE2
Omg I swear this part of the game got my heart beating like hell lmao
Tension in the original RE2?
The first time he appeared for me as Ada I fucked up and couldn't find it because I was so nervous lmao he crushed her head like a grape
Ironic is that Ada remains calm as he approaches, Claire and Leon like us players s*** the bed 🤣🤣
i had 0 bullets when i face him with ada near the door that needs to be hacked because i always try to kill the zombies, though you don't need to....
I loved the freakishly stressful experience that he added to the already urgent and unpredictable environment. My first RE game was 2 Remake and it was awesome!
I love that the devs were like, you know what, give him a hat. It'll be great.
And they were right.
This is what fear sounds.
This game was literally a masterwork in game design. Completely floored me when i first played it. Still one of my favorite games of all time.
Mr X way scarier than nemesis
In this game atleast.
Nemesis wasn't scary in the remake because he was scripted But mr X. is not scripted.
the game always succeeds in scaring the shit out me, when I'm literally just hanging around in a room, minding my own business, trying to sort something out, thinking im safe, when literally out of nowhere, I start hearing THIS blast in the background, along with the sound of Mr X's footsteps getting nearer
The original theme: Make Mr. X intimidating.
Remake theme: Gives Mr. X a mysterious vibe.
I love that the music just picks up right where it left off from the last encounter rather than starting all over again.
Ah shit, here we go again
"A terrifying presence has entered the room."
This melody is scary and increases tension 😨😨
We all know when you see mr x you get hyped
Mr x Cured your boredom 👍
I absolutely love this theme, so damn cool to hear out of nowhere, especially when doing speedruns and he just pops out of nowhere lmfao
My heart rate just increased to about 150 bpm
Mr x has amazing taste in fashion
This thing won't die!
It's him again!
@@ariaabdi4353god is this a fucking joke?!
This is probably a top 3 theme for a villain in a survival horror game.
Amazing hearing this makes my heart beat hard and I'm not even playing the game. Never heard a theme song that's only scary because of the character, not the song itself.
Such a cool villain.
0:55 i love this part because it keeps the anxious and "i need to leave. now." feel and it also adds in a clock to the background which (or maybe the curtains are just blue) kinda symbolizes the feeling of running out of time whenever you're around him. you can only kite the darkness for so long.
Представляю как он из угла выходит лунной походкой придерживая свою шляпу, как Майкл Джексон. Потом начинает тебя преследовать под ритм этой музыки, делая разные движения.

There’s no way you don’t panic even a little when you hear this theme start while playing this game and hearing stomping foot steps
When i was in the clock tower in 3rd floor. I kept hearing this thing playing. And i get out of the clock tower to check out what's goin on, i stare at the 2nd floor and i see the tyrant walkin around. I was terrified cuz if u hear his music, he knows where u are.
@@shagawy40 BRUH i was near clock tower, istg i saw a fucking shadow of him and instantly ran away
I did for the first 20 minutes or so, until I realised he's dumber than a brick. Mr X really is no different from a giant triangle filling up the corridor, all while slowly walking at you. Incredibly easy to dodge, not to mention "killing" him isn't even that costly with how much ammo you get in this game, especially for Leon.
Really this is a massive shame because his presentation is top notch, just fails to deliver on that threat.
Me hearing this theme while he chases me with his loud ass footsteps: *Anxiety Attack 100*
When you hear this you hear leon and claire screaming aswell
Getting attacked by zombies and a licker is one thing but having it happen while Mr.X isn't far behind you that's nerve wrecking.
In short your getting jumped by every opp in the game
I will never forget being by Iron's office, being almost certain Mr. X couldn't go up the ladder outside, I actually physically convulsed when I saw him in the stairwell.
tuntuntuntuntun... tuntuntuntuntun...
Its strange for a theme to both sound cool af and make you anxious lol
I remember when I was about to leave the police station as Claire and randomly heard her say, "You again!?". I was so confused because I didn't hear anything only to turn around and almost get bodied by a devious right hook from this man! When I tell you I was so scared I gave the loudest spitting sound of my life
The fact that Mr. X’s real name is T-103 gives me terminator vibes
Run,,,,, Runnn (mr x steps)
Epic!
Sus pasos me aterra, si los escuchas, no corras! Te va a escuchar
Y es peor cuando al momento de escapar, tienes que tratar de evitar a los zombies y a los lickers que se encuentren en tu camino
Here after RE4 Remake... i still miss Mr.X, he was amazing.

for real the re4 remake also made the zombies weaker for no reason and it just all feels a bit odd
Yea because you could upgrade your weapons in 4. And they're parasites
Everytime i hear his footsteps I start thinking oh f---

I actually find Mr. X more scarier than Nemesis. Yeah, he doesn’t run and jump in front of you but it’s his stompy footsteps that scare me and you don’t know where he is.
I remember my first time seeing him😭 had nightmares for weeks
What the random lady on the street hears while I'm walking behind her
Seriously I don't like playing re2 until he starts chasing me I mean the intensity anxiety all of that is what resident evil games known for
Sad his segment feels so short
I'mma use this as my alarm
Let's be honest they got rid of stalker type enemies because it gave casual players anxiety in a survival horror game. There should be a mode where casuals can opt out of these encounters so they don't ruin the experience for the rest of us.
Since capcom implemented that mechanic of RE: outbreak that BOWs can follow everywhere you go this guy is annoying af, but at least this song is cool, not to mention his fedora is fancy.
