Tough session. I would consider finding your fold button more, especially preflop on hands that don't contain a either suited Ace, a pocket pair 99+, or a four card connected rundown. Especially at low stakes PLO
Sorry for the loss Prof. You basically got knocked on river most of times. It happens. Shouldn't stopped at 3 max buy ins but it's difficult if you know you have an edge. Take it on chin. My top boat also got knocked by a straight flush last night. Just couldn't fold it...still hurting today. Greetings from South Africa
Hey man, great content! Love the video format. This is definitely going to make me sound like a hater, but given that you gave a bunch of tutorial videos, I guess I thought your play would be a lot different/more correct. I don't mean this the wrong way, but as someone who is a medium stakes online reg, you have a ton to work on in your game man. Cold call KQT3ds from the sb? That hand doesn't have a lot of nuttiness and doesn't perform very well multi way. A876 trip suited is not strong enough to raise out of the SB (should overlimp) and absolutely cannot cbet muliti way with top pair weak kicker. Why did you call a raise with J766? that is a totally unplayable hand, even if you think people are bad postflop, you still have to beat the rake and beat many players in the hand. J766 is like not even being close to good enough to take multi way. Don't fool yourself into thinking that he "must have top set" on the Q954 board, he could have a wrap and a flush draw that is dominating your hand. Your hand has awful equity multi way out of position vs his range and should be folding vs a pot sized bet on the turn. On the T985 hand, why did you lead out into the 3 bettor? He could have a ton of hands that have you in really bad shape (which he actually did), and you're just dumping money away. This is NOT a hand that wants to get raised, so x/c is way better. "The table being bonkners" justifies playing tighter, not looser. J733 is even more unplayable multi way than J766. This isn't a cooler, this is a hand which is completely unplayable multi way, and you got punished for playing it. If you want to "play lots of hands at a bonkers table", you need hands that can make the nuts. NUTTINESS is the component that's most important by far multiway, and J733 is the prime example of a hand that has none. You should look at some of these in a solver/sim, because although live play/being with action players can call for some deviations, it's not going to make something that's a -0.9bb mistake to become +EV. I see this quote in another comment you wrote (and then deleted?) something like this: "plo is about intuition and not memorizing a preflop chart." The problem is that these calls preflop and some of the plays postflop are so bad that you can't possibly be making up for the EV loss in a theory sense using "intuition", they're just punts. I appreciate the video post though!
Great question! I appreciate all the feedback and like your thought process! As I’ve stated in previous comments - this was my 3rd session since WSOP…. So I was super rusty. Literally worse thing about being a vlogger is going back seeing how bad I played! Some of those hands that you point out that are not playable - i would agree with some, disagree with others. All good though, in the next live session (that I did last night) - you’ll see much better / higher quality hands! Started off in the first hour on fire (up 5k). Keep in mind everything is situational! Ty for watching and the comment!
@@ploprofessor I guess the case I'm making is that situations can give rise to deviations, but they're going to be small. I tried to stick to pointing out things that are just dramatically incorrect (like not even close to being close), what is something that you disagree with? @@smootha111 I have been stating the same things and it is over his head. I don't disagree that live reads exist but the more players in the pot the less someone should rely on reads and more on the component of their hand and finding hands that can continue in multiway pots or draw to nutted equity. There is no "intuition" that is going to overcome 6 opponents and you are holding A853 no suits. Just cuz you are on the button doesn't justify playing pure trash. There is a common fallacy the live plo community that plo is just postflop game and preflop hand selection is irrelevant.

On the J766 hand are we not a bit worried about a re-raise? You said you should've bet for value but OOP if villain re-pots it I don't think you can justify calling with a middling flush unless you're certain he's only playing with a naked two pair or something. Or did you think your read was solid enough that villian didn't have many or any flushes?
Excellent question! When he bets out 100 on the flop I questioned if he was just being position with a weak draw (weak flush or str8 draw or two pair)….. but when he goes full pot on turn it convinced me that he had a set. It narrowed his range down to top two pair (bottom range) to top set (top range). So I felt confident that if a club comes I should of bet pot. He had like 5-600 left…. So he may make the hero call…. But I felt I was good…. Just had checking. I did think I could check so if all he had was an ace blocker I could call. So….
