    I’ve been in a studio that didn’t hang any drywall. Just covered the insulation with burlap and spaced out some thin pine boards all along the walls. Best sounding room I ever heard. Especially for drums.

      That's an interesting suggestion. We needed heat insulation and external sound "decoupling", so this would not work for us

    It would be great to see a PT2 with the sound treatment... I assume that the reverb of the room was awful at first.

      The main focus was to reduce sound coming in/going out from the room as this is a "standalone" room. The "reverb" before the treatment was not exessive but was not "nice"! We have not added additional sound treatment as we wanted to keep the room "live". We have however created mobile acoustic panels that we use when we want to make audio sources more dry or to separate audio sources etc

    This is beautiful to see take shape, where are you based and how much does this cost? Currently researching converting my garage...

      Thank you! This is in London. The cost really depends on the result that you're after and the limitations of your space. Feel free to message us on our social media or email and we'll happily provide any info we've gathered from this project.

    Nice 👍🏻 actually watched this right through, would love a music room, can you come and do mine although my garage is only 1/3 the size and has a car in bits in it 😭

    What are layers you used on the floor? We’re there 4-5?

    Wow!! pretty Kool time lapse, I really enjoyed watching your video. Are you guys going to put Acoustic treatment for your reflections though?

    • @EZSongLessons
      @EZSongLessons  2 года назад

      Thank you! No acoustic treatment at the moment, although we have made some movable panels that we can use when needed. Hopefully, we'll get some proper acoustic readings in the near future and make adjustments

    Nice video but that's some annoying background music with out of tune and out of time guitars, mandolins, whatever they are.

      Thanks for the comment. Just make sure you put different music in the background when watching (it's ukuleles)
