Alright Cliff, .. this does seem to be more stable now, eh? I recall this being quick to twitch, unexpectedly. Not having flying models, myself .. I would not have guessed that it can be this much of a process.
I'm not the only one to notice a difference in left and right turning ability of particular airplanes. Ithink it must have something to do with the spinning propellerd torque from the motor. Just my two ¢. (4 p )😊
Great job Cliff. The pink Spitfire looks great against the gray sky.Thank you for this.👍🏻👊🏻
Thanks Don, I thought the same 👍
Persistence pays off! Well done. She looks good in the air.
Thanks Len, I knew she would ... eventually 🙂
Great to see her fly Cliff, you right she looked great against the dull sky. 👍🏻
Yes, thanks Chris 🫡
It worked! Great to see the success Cliff. Lot of work, but I knew you'd get it there.
Thanks Adam, I should have gone straight to this version but then we wouldn't have had all these wonderful development videos!
It stays in the air, it goes kind of where you want it to go and it look fantastic! For sure a great success! Thx for not giving up on it!
Thanks Andrew, it was worth persevering... it's a Spitfire... I can't just give up 🙂👍🏼
Looking good. Plenty of power now. Able to keep the flying speed comfortably above the stall "at about half throttle". 👍
Yes indeed Richard 🙂
Nice to get her flying so well !
@@jollyroger2226 Got there in the end Roger 🙂
Well done, Cliff! I knew you would get it sorted somehow. It looks great just buzzing around like that.
Yes, thanks Daz 🙂
So pleased to see you got it working!
Thanks Emilio 🙂
Very cool👍👍👍👍
Thanks Wolfgang 🙂
Bravo. Nothing like persistence! Flying through Heathrow later today en route to Bucharest. I’ll look out the window for you.
If you see a pink Spitfire outside the window you know things didn't go to plan, (it'll make a good video though!)
Well done, good result and it looks great in the air!
@@bobflyman Thanks Bob 😉
Looks like it is flying OK. Good one.
Thanks Gudjon, just a shame the sun didn't shine for some better video, cheers
Success, Cliff! Well done. She has the Spitfire's beauty and grace... and she's very, very pink! Love it!
Thanks Gina 🙂
Very nice! Definitely success!
Yes! Thank you Mike, got her flying in the end!
Congrats on the Pink Spit... What a wonderful little plane..
Thanks Will, she sure is!
Cliff great flying with Pinky. Looks like you need to use mostly rudder in the turns? Jeff in LA USA
Yes, I've coupled it in as well 👍🏼
Rain in England!?! What's the world coming to?
@@KlingbergWingMkII I know, it was like an old friend came to play 😁
So Mum will have to wait a bit longer? 🤣
Hi Bob, I suspect not too long 😳
Alright Cliff, .. this does seem to be more stable now, eh? I recall this being quick to twitch, unexpectedly. Not having flying models, myself .. I would not have guessed that it can be this much of a process.
Not usually this much of a process but she was originally a free flight design and I had 'tinkered' with the wings quite a bit!
The full size Spitfire had 6 (six) degrees of dihedral. Maybe yours would benefit from the same--especially in turns and general manoevreability .
Maybe in the next one 👍
@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes Would look better (more scale) in the air too.

You're right Ken, the thrust angle makes a massive difference 👍
