Beautiful footage, quite the hike to recover your drone! You find some interesting adventures and new friends along the way. Keep up the great content, and stay safe out there!
I noticed a very interesting thing at 21:00 of your footage. There is a room, perfectly preserved, among the ruins. The entrance is closed by stacked bricks... All others rooms are damaged, except that room. I don't understand arabic writings, but I suppose that the room is a sacred place. The preservation on that place is really honorable, in my opinion.
That’s an insane test my friend. I would never try that with my drone. Unbelievably amazing landscape you have there though. Keep the mad videos coming fella. Don’t lose the poor wee beast of a drone
Bro he took the risk and made the video for us and show us what could be happen? We saw! And we got the idea, moreover say a lesson.. you should say thanks man for open our eyes about this type of situation..😊
Thanks for this video. It gives us a clear warning. I'm surrounded by trees and little mountains here. I think it would also be difficult to locate the drone in a similar situation.
Thank you for this demonstration! Now we know that landing anywhere that blocks the signal, you will not get your drone back if you cannot get to it. Also, that was a large mountain to climb! I don't think I would have made it to the top! Interesting area too! Thanks for sharing.
Hello from the Pacific North West, Farhaan Manan. What a cool name for a cool guy. We are covered with trees and it looks completely different here. I am a new Mini 3 Pro flying camera drone operator for the first time, recently. Great mission. It helped me a lot. Cheers brother. New sub. Lou
few days back, i was experimenting like you and gone through same situation like you, (but with different story) with my mavic mini 3 basic, and i was convinced that i lost my drone, but i was lucky like you that i found my drone.. so watching your video, im pretty sure whats gone on your heart.. 😂
Hi Syed ! Again your drone travel was incredible. I really don't understand why it refused to connect at the beginning and why the camera showed red screen ... Nevertheless it's absolutely crazy to lead your drone to the top of this mount .... and after that landing and loosing connection ... Why I cannot explain again ... But for you it was an occasion to climb (quite hardly if I listent to your breath) and visit the abandonned fort. Great video again Syed !!
Hello Jo You said what i was thinking on too, On a flat surface in a start of this video I was confident that drone should connect even if i face completely in opposite direction with controller in hands but lost connection and had to move myself and until there is straight road between me and the drone. Indeed it was a tough climb with no water bottle but i never felt so alive after the climb, Thanks A Lot for watching 💯
That was AMAZING! You’re answered a question I’ve been trying to find an answer. Can you land your drone far away then take off again? All depends on signal strength.
I was wonder were you using the RC controller or N1 controller? Always heard the n1 controller is better cause the antenna is outside. I guess you won't be doing this again. Brutal hike.
Yes, I was using the RC N1 Controller. The controller itself is better but the problem with this video was that the landing options were not so good, if it was flat it was out of line of sight, and if irregular in sight etc. Thanks for watching
@@FarhaanManan I noticed you updated to the recent version of the app also. They lady’s voice is different. I’m thinking DJI is limiting transmission range quietly so the signal won’t reach as far. I was watching another channel and during the same update that changed the dji app voice promps it also limited the flight height to 120 m maximum. And when someone complained DJI sent out a fix and undid the restrictions.
@@dsn2005i That is true like you said the female voice is changed however the height limit on mine is still the same 500m here in Pakistan may be for other countries they restricted that too
next time lower the drone veeery slow and take very careful note of your signal. rth will probably engage in this scenario before you can land. nice video and demonstration though.
16.09 their is a nice flat rock hanging on the edge of the mountain, that would have been your best chance to have signal on landing and be able to take off. I would do the test again and have someone up the mountain before you take off so its easier to find the rock, and then they would be able to either raise the drone into the air if signal was gone. or bring it back to you lol Really good video though
First I will see that flat rock at 16.09 now and man 😂 Your idea is quite good, I’ll have to give my buddy on the other side the call to raise the drone move it, go up the peak and as soon as there is signal I’ll takeoff from his hand.
@@FarhaanManan Thank you, I thought you edit your videos on PC. Anyway, thanks a bunch I'll look at it, and thank you for the great content and tutorials I learned I lot from you as a newby drone pilot.

So the drone does not fly back to the RTH (return to home ) even if it has enough battery to fly back to home point ? . Dji should make it that it takes off and fly back to home point.
All Dji Drone normally fly back to home point if there is still battery left but if you loose line of sight (Signal Connection) when landed then it’s game over. Controller should be in connection in order to takeoff properly from a new location.
Going closer to the mountain doesn't make the situation any better. You lost the signal because you lost the line of sight with the drone. Going closer to the mountain will make it worse.

Nice test, and I've also experimented such things when you land a bit behind / below the horizon vs your RC position...
Fantastic 💯

😂 Intense Situation My Friend
A very interesting video. The other problem, regardless of signal is that once the drone shuts off there is no way of turning it back on with the RC.
Great video. Subbed from Nigeria 🇳🇬. Watched 2 of your long distance test video and also this video. Very nice

Why didn't you use Find My Drone on the controller? It would point to the last known position before the signal was lost.
I'm asking the same🤷🏽♂️
Yes, I did used that feature in the past but for this video the drone location was easy to find
What a fit local 👍 mashallah

A little bit disapointed to see that you can lost the signal on a flat surface without no mountain or wall between you and the drone at 400 meters.
Absolutely there should be a little relaxation of 10m for the signal to reach even if lost line of sight.
Dude your props look like they need changing..one on right front looks like it's missing little pieces. Just sayin
Yes, I am replacing them soon, Thanks for noticing :)

True, I need elevated height for the controller roughly at 250m in this situation, Thanks for watching
I didn't like this thing in this dji mini 3
Signal Loss?
