  • Welcome to the description section on this video.
This video covers some of the most important things that you should consider before landing the drone at a new Home Point Location.
Make Sure You Read The Full Description On This Particular Video,
The Most Important thing to consider before landing the drone somewhere away from you is to find out if there is a clear line of sight between the drone and controller, By Clear Line of Sight I mean that the drone should be visible at flight path end from the controller end, It doesn't matter if you can see it with the naked eyes or not but there must be a visible link between the drone and controller.
When Landing the Drone at a new Home Point make sure the landing surface beneath the drone is flat and not irregular. Takeoff from an irregular surface is almost impossible for small drone like Dji Mini 3 Pro with small legs. The propellers always hit the ground or rocks which causes power failure and failed takeoff.
Make sure you have more then 50% battery left on your drone when landing at a new home point, if anything goes wrong you can adjust your controller location and there will still be life left on your drone to give you a steady takeoff.
You can actually extend the 500m height on Your Drone from a new HomePoint to go above 500m but be careful as in this video you will see if there is no connection between the aircraft and the controller you will have to go by yourself and collect the drone.
Dji Mini 3 Pro Turns off automatically to cool itself after sometime when it is sitting idle and it is something to consider. If you land your drone at a new Home Point location, make sure you don't let Dji Mini 3 Pro Sit there for longer periods of time as it will turn off automatically and cause signal interruption.
There are two Types of Signal Transmissions available 2.4Ghz and 5.8Ghz for the drones, 5.8Ghz works good In short range while 2.4Ghz works good in long range but you will be better off by keeping the transmissions on dual channels as the drone will automatically change to the preferred frequency channel in the transmission section on Dji FlyApp.
Make sure you are running the latest firmware updates on both the drone and controller to avoid any bugs and glitches during the flight.
That's all here for today, Thank you for reading and all the best.

I noticed a very interesting thing at 21:00 of your footage. There is a room, perfectly preserved, among the ruins. The entrance is closed by stacked bricks... All others rooms are damaged, except that room. I don't understand arabic writings, but I suppose that the room is a sacred place. The preservation on that place is really honorable, in my opinion.

Thank you for this demonstration! Now we know that landing anywhere that blocks the signal, you will not get your drone back if you cannot get to it. Also, that was a large mountain to climb! I don't think I would have made it to the top! Interesting area too! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Syed ! Again your drone travel was incredible. I really don't understand why it refused to connect at the beginning and why the camera showed red screen ... Nevertheless it's absolutely crazy to lead your drone to the top of this mount .... and after that landing and loosing connection ... Why I cannot explain again ... But for you it was an occasion to climb (quite hardly if I listent to your breath) and visit the abandonned fort. Great video again Syed !!

Hello Jo You said what i was thinking on too, On a flat surface in a start of this video I was confident that drone should connect even if i face completely in opposite direction with controller in hands but lost connection and had to move myself and until there is straight road between me and the drone.

    • @FarhaanManan
      @FarhaanManan  Год назад +1

Yes, I was using the RC N1 Controller. The controller itself is better but the problem with this video was that the landing options were not so good, if it was flat it was out of line of sight, and if irregular in sight etc. Thanks for watching

@@FarhaanManan I noticed you updated to the recent version of the app also. They lady’s voice is different. I’m thinking DJI is limiting transmission range quietly so the signal won’t reach as far. I was watching another channel and during the same update that changed the dji app voice promps it also limited the flight height to 120 m maximum. And when someone complained DJI sent out a fix and undid the restrictions.

16.09 their is a nice flat rock hanging on the edge of the mountain, that would have been your best chance to have signal on landing and be able to take off.
I would do the test again and have someone up the mountain before you take off so its easier to find the rock, and then they would be able to either raise the drone into the air if signal was gone. or bring it back to you lol
    Really good video though

    • @FarhaanManan

First I will see that flat rock at 16.09 now and man 😂 Your idea is quite good, I’ll have to give my buddy on the other side the call to raise the drone move it, go up the peak and as soon as there is signal I’ll takeoff from his hand.

    • @FarhaanManan

All Dji Drone normally fly back to home point if there is still battery left but if you loose line of sight (Signal Connection) when landed then it’s game over. Controller should be in connection in order to takeoff properly from a new location.
