- In this episode I am riding from San Pedro de Atacama in Chile, to the border with Bolivia. I am entering Bolivia very remotely and at high altitude, ready to go and ride the famous 'Ruta de las Lagunas' : the lagoon route.
On day one I can enjoy some nice thermal baths on the 'altiplano' but I have to prepare myself for some rough days ahead!
-
I am riding solo around the world on my Royal Enfield Himalayan 'Dhanno'!

#freeBasanti!
@@williamgill_esq.6487 haha, to put her back into the wild. 😄
I did, too. Basanti was looking beautiful. She enjoyed the attention I guess
What makes these videos for better than anything else out there is Noraly is not obsessed with training the camera on herself we get to see the amazing places that she sees through her eyes I am just about done with theseRUclipsrs that focus entirely on themselves even when they are in amazing locations.
By far the best content of any channel out there, thank you for being amazing.
"High Plains Drifter"
I love how these little kids greet you everywhere!
My god you literally are a promotional asset for Royal Enfield company to show the Himalayan is indeed a rugged machine
Get some sponsorship going with them.
@@tkau8 Welll, she did get a new bike...
@@sifibuckle probably RE is getting multiples more than the cost of new bike using Noraly's "ex" bike in promos and exhibitions.
At this point I'm surprised the big name manufacturers aren't offering Noraly one of their bikes.
Her previous bike Basanti is currently on display at the Royal Enfield stand @ Motorbeurs Utrecht (The Netherlands)
Thank you, for all your hard work. Your videos inspired me to spend a month in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam where I rented a little Honda XR 150 in Saigon and rode to Hanoi. Best trip of my life
and I owe it in part to you, so thank you. Shiny side up. Riley in Los Angeles California.
You return the bike in Hanoi or you rode back to Saigon?
I used a company called Tigit, they have offices in Saigon, Dalat, Nahtrang, and Hanoi, I returned the bike in Hanoi.
Yes, I vote for more relaxing Noraly. All you need.
I'm liking the new pace and upload schedule. Must be more relaxing for you Noraly. Safe travels.
Yes it’s much better for me :) glad you like it too this way!
@@ItchyBoots We would really like a video every day. We are human and selfish, but at the same time we value the effort you make and we wait patiently for a new chapter of your series.
The Bear Den Photography I completely agree 👍
@@ItchyBoots definitely take it easy (even though the washboard was rough) You deserve the hot springs to relax...now only if you had a masseuse 😉. Great video, Noraly! With great respect and admiration from snowy Minnesota USA🤗👍Ride safe & take it at your own pace.
Every video you upload is a gift to us. They are all appreciated so much and we want you to work at a sustainable pace that's fun for you so we get Noraly for years to come!
I cannot believe she has been riding only five years. Her balance is perfect. Anyone can ride on smooth pavement, but she rides equally well on very rough trails. Thats a rider!
Thank you Chile 🇨🇱...for Caring Our Norally and Dhano...🥰
Noraly I am sure you had a lot of fun with that kid so cute👍👍👍👍👍
The harder you work for something, the greater you'll feel when you achieve it. Keep riding and thank you for sharing your adventure with us.
Noraly nada mejor para terminar un día de viaje que un baño termal...jajaja... Gracias por las imágenes!!
Noraly, you can't even imagine how much I envy you. This trip of yours is not only entertaining but therapeutic, as well, for the soul and spirit! May you ride safe and thanks for sharing with us this amazing adventure!
Better than any TV show...carry on!
The border crossings are insane, just so different from other parts of the world 🌎!! The scenery and drone footage is amazing Noraly !! I hope Royal Enfield is helping you along the way (besides the bike) as you are showing the world a torture test of their bike....the bike is killing it, as are you 👍🏻🇨🇦
Did you skip the spectacular Laguna Verde and Blanca, right after you crossed the border? Would be a shame if you drove passed them so closely and missed out on their beauty at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano. That was the terminus of a 4 day excursion I took through the Salar de Uyuni, past all the lagunas with flamingos and with volcanos and otherworldly landscapes. That was back in 1997. Then it was not designated a national park and there were relatively few tourists who would travel through the area. Also there were no guesthouses outside the tiny hamlets beyond the salar, only a miner's encampment near Laguna Colorada where we stayed. The hot springs you soaked in at the end of the video were all natural back then. We literally pulled off the side of the track and waded into a hot hole in the ground. I remember it was early in the morning and it was so cold there was ice all over the ground and it felt amazing to soak in this isolated spot surrounded by the most incredible landscapes. Kind of a shame to see it enclosed in concrete and the building developments around it. I guess that's the way the world goes. I'm just grateful for my memories of when it was still little known and unspoiled....
Almost at 350,000 subs, well done and well deserved. I enjoy reading the comments also, especially from the people who are unable to travel and are living an adventure vicariously through you.
you mean 504k. Love i found this channel. its soo addictive. cant stop watching.
@@vejonis Did u mean 835k :) Deserves many millions more...this's d best travel vlog on RUclips.
Now 955K a year later (Jan 2022). She'll break a million in about March. She's gaining over one thousand a day!
I visit Basanti on the stand of Royal Enfield on the motorcycle fair in Utrecht in the Netherlands. Knowing that you are making such a big promotion for their brand, it was disappointed that they didn't mentioned the link to your website on the billboard with your picture.
You deserve a lot more subscribers 😉😉
Keep up the spirit and let us enjoy your adventures 👍👍
"I skip the line a little bit", made my day, Noraly. Stay strong and go ahead.
Finalmente um novo país..... Bolívia também é espetacular. 😊
Superb how you're showing us what an awesome planet we live on 👍
I’m loving that AltiPlano vibe.
Relaxin’ in the geo-thermal pool with the sunnies on is golden.
Good Vibrations
Thank you for writting positive thoughts about Bolivia, Noraly really talk so bad about Bolivia is sad ,some people that sow her videos in Uyuni will cancel visit a country without roads of course she wanted to travel those roads without paying a guide Why this lady is so cheap?
I'll never thank you enough for sharing such beautiful places with us!
Keep on going strong.
Ride long, Ride safe!
Hermoso viaje estás haciendo. Es agradable ver cómo lo disfrutas. He recorrido todas tus rutas de Argentina, Chile y bolivia en moto. Y he vuelto a recordar más de un tramo. Gracias por compartir. Adrián. Argentina.
The little girl at 12:51 cracked me up and of course the "Welcome to Bolivia" greeting at 8:54! It's been awhile since we're heard one of those. Are you stopping in San Vincente
where Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid did there thing over 100 years ago. The look of relief on your face when you lowered into the hot springs was awesome. Resting more, enjoying more. Thanks Noraly! Safe riding. 🏍🌋🌞
Thanks for the great video. It is always a shock to see other people on you trip. I hope it doesn't seem creepy but i like to see you take a few bites of your lunches and breakfasts. Fuel for Noraly. Thanks. - BB
@Noraly your Geochemistry knowledge is at best use. Love your good understand of landscapes. Wonderful video yet again. You are the best every time, anytime 👍
Incredible, the absence of green and the reflection of water The water must have a high concentration of salt. Keep up the excellent ride and production of your dream, a world to discover.
Central Illinois farmer Ken. Keep up the good work. Watching from Costa Rica now
Noraly, the drone shot in this video looked like the suface of Mars. LOL The best part, besides the people in the village being very hospitable, is the hot pool. Your voice projected your comfort level. Take care and ride safe.
That is why StarWars movie was film in Bolivia ! Is enchanting country if you are not lost most of the time.
Noraly, watching your videos make my days!
me tool!
Fullkanoos,Kaisers & Schnitzel! Thats how we roll ...yeah !😄
Salvidor Dali desert! I was looking for some half-melted clocks draped over rocks.
The hot pool at the end looked divine! Perfect treat after a day of washboard roads.
Amazing views, nice border crossings and more blue sky’s. Thanks for sharing, cheers. 👍
This terrain at the top of the world is fascinating, the wonders you are seeing and sharing boggle the mind, so different than anything I had imagined...thank you for continuously blowing my mind. You and Dhanno keep on truckin.
Man..it looks like Mongolia..crazy barren and sketch roads. Great job Noraly! Safe travels🇨🇦
You really learned your Lesson and start to relax! Thumbs Up! Beautiful scenaries you Show us, thank you so much!
I absolutely adore you..and when you welcome us viewers to a new country...I almost do it with you....its so endearing...:)
Love from India
After Noraly take her break from the social. media platforms the new vid. are much easy to see and a lot more enjoyable. She looks like another person more fresh more happy. To all Ride Safe.
Bolivia Noraly has arrived. Take care and God bless you.
You working, we watching. Thanks for your hard work, Noraly! :)
Ms. .....that sky is absolutely beautiful....wow!
Fantastic entry ! What beautiful and remote country ! . The elevation that you ride at is amazing.
Isn't funny - that little kids are the same no matter where you see them?
I'm also amazed on your trip (as I was on Terry and my camping trip across the US and back) how intrepid human beings were in the first place to have crossed through, let alone settled in some of the pretty inhospitable places that we've seen. The views certainly are stunning but, for instance, when we passed by a sign stating "No services next 150 miles" (even though we were well prepared) it gave us pause - the exquisite views don't provide sustenance: spiritual sustenance yes but not in a 'material' sense. But what a feeling of excitement to have seen it and to have experienced it! Thanks again for taking us along!
I see that you are an expert at border crossings !!! Thank you for this amazing video.
Calgary is waiting for you! Please make it by July over here! Our doors and hearts are always open! God speed!
Noraly, watching your videos make my days! Thank you for sharing that great attitude and beautiful landscapes.
Love from Texas
Welcome to Bolivia!! Looks to be another beautiful country! Great way to finish the day in the hot spring! 😃
Wonderful - a geography and science lesson all rolled into one - superb. Thank you 🙏.Ride safe 🏍👍
This video I really liked, especially the look of relaxation in NORALY LOVE ❤️ YOU
Here we go, a new chapter in your tour, Good luck and ride safe.
A well prepared 'lama' on the plate, and then a warm bath to relax with that incredeble vieuw. Life is not getting any better. ;-)
Bravo pour le parcours et l’aventure ... 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Bienvenida a Bolivia !!!
Thank You Noraly. Such an amazing landscape and the hot springs look fab. Enjoy 💞
You make any place come alive Noraly with your very knowledgeable explanation with such charm.
You look so much more relaxed after your little rest and doing only three videos a week. It gives us time to look forward to it and it gives a bit of extra time for you too. We enjoy watching you videos better when you are more relaxed. Thank you 🙏, Love,

Looking forward to the Bolivian food.Have a really good weekend (everyone) 🇧🇴
You are admirable, have plenty of patience and a happy attitude. Thanks for sharing these videos. Best to you and Godspeed.
I just watched this episode again (it's April 15th, '20), and it was so nice to see a happy Noraly before we all enter the stressful coronavirus period, and the entire world shuts down. Best wishes to Noraly, whose adventurous life has become such a regular part of all our lives.
C'est L'Fun te voir en moto. Continue ta ride. On est avec toi.
I don't know if any of the other folk's here agree with me , but I find the customs & immigration stops extremely interesting. I'd love to know how they get electricity to those borders stops that are out in the middle of nowhere !!!
@@timeforadventure2808 - Looks like the UK is opting out, unfortunately ! As only 37% of the electorate voted to leave the EU, Britain is now no longer a democratic country - we've had a right-wing dictatorship of the seriously over-privileged take over !

@@thetessellater9163 Really 🙄🙄 was that 37% of all that could vote but 52% of those that did.
Stop whining about it and get behind your Country.
As the worlds supplier of copper, lithium, and the main crystal minerals used in solar panels They should be able to be solar and wind sufficiant .
Electric generators running on kerosene, diesel or gas are the most common setups in remote locations.
Bolivia is simply magical. Glad you made it there
Bolivia is so beautiful but nothing was shown in her videos only being lost without a guide and visit cheap places. That is not good !hurts the BolivianTourist industry People seeing those videos has wrong ideas about places to visit. Bolivia is so magical Star wars movie was film there. Bolivia has the highest lithium reserves in the world ! The Amazon region is so beautiful as well. Hopefully another motorcycle lady visits to Bolivia and , shows nicer places. The really Bolivia.
Learning somthing new every episode from you, me like .ceep up the god work and enjoy
From the start till you arrived in salvador dali....notba single tree....wow....thank you again for the amazing trip
Glad you remembered your sunglasses, this time, when you bathed in the hot springs, Noraly. Hot springs are always a worthy pit stop to make in your journey. Your body appreciates the TLC.
Noraly, you are perhaps the most inspiring person I have viewed in ages (not surprises there). Kudos! Binging on your content - not only visually appealing, but full of info - love your geological background but also your appreciation for the simple joys: nature, beauty, etc and your contagious optimism 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 wish I was trailing with you. Till then, travel safe, be well and keep inspiring ta xx
It's 11:41 here in India in night im watching your vlog because I really love you and your smile you are really awesome rider ........be safe be happy always .....🥰😊😘🤗
I find it interesting that you are in 🇧🇴 Bolivia. I grow up in Bolivia and now I’m living in Canada, we love your videos and we pray for your safety on your journey. God bless you
I saw Basanti at the Royal Enfield stand @ Motorbeurs Utrecht today! Basanti was standing on gravel in front of a big poster of you. Looks like Royal Enfield took notice :)
Now lets see them actually sponsor her !!!
They better . And finance her next trip.
@@georgeheidkesr1759 Well they gave her Dahnno in exchange for Basanti. A pretty sweet deal, I say.
This Royal Enfield has been where no motorcycle has been before. Ultimate testament to woman and machine
wow just amazing places , that some of us will never see , we thank you ! Very best wishes Noraly from Mel , Stansted UK
Enjoy the hot springs 😉😊
I very much doubt I will ever get to do this trip myself but I am loving being able to enjoy this spectacular trip via your videos. Thank you Noraly.
Your travels have certainly restored my faith in humanity. Everyone you come in contact with seem so nice.
Noraly you live the life of a Dutch princess 👸 lol 😂 enjoy and stay safe over their))) 😉 x
Riding a motorcycle on a washboard road across a desert at 5,000 m altitude, day-after-day, doesn't seem quite like something a princess might choose to do (though the BIKE is "Royal").
I love the slower pace and more relaxed Noraly 👍
You remembered your sunglasses this time !!!!!! ....
Nice one Noraly, hot springs, always a plus!
I did that route recently all the way to uyuni, before leaving I did take some altitude pills, that route is beautiful
Thank you for visiting Bolivia ,that country is the only one in the world with so much diversity . That route need a Jeep to cross and a guide and later dont complain how awful is it ! That kills the Tourism industry of that country. Seeing that video we dont know how many tourists stop traveling to see the Salt Lake . Star Wars movie was done there and never trash with bad comments that place. iIs sad to read the comments about . We need more Utube riders in Motorcycle that are less crazy.
wow watching you, now and then you attacked everything with such vigor and excitement this should be basic teaching in all schools around the world love the videos Itchy.
I like that cute little child in the doorway. Cute as pie!
Of all the RUclips motorbike traveler videos that I follow Noraly makes the best. Each video is like a chapter in a well written book. There is always a beginning, an end, as well as informational, entertaining, and enjoyable passages in between. Time to make another donation for petrol for Dhanno.

Had to chuckle to myself. I now stretch out my arm and say the same as Noraly "Welcome to Bolivia"
Well the FIRST time I was in Boliva was with you Noraly and I am sad to say it ain't looking like much. Now for the positive...of all the Spanish speaking places you have been I MUST say they were all very pleasant and hospitable and that makes up for quite a lot! Happy Trails 👍🏻👍🏻 🏍
4 of X countries is done in your second trip..
Congratulations Noraly..
Thankyou for taking me with you.i love your bike and équipement.

💗
Desert landscapes are the most beautiful. I am really looking forward to seeing Bolivia.
Noraly is showing the worst from Bolivia, only because, she want to go to the cheap places, without roads ,why ?she made 347.000 $ last yearThanks to the videos in Utube,.This info is according to another u Tube . Showing the worst places , people cancels turistic trips to those countries and the people is more poor.,has less income. Not good ! The Governments of those poor countries need to regulate the kind of videos this people shows to made their income destroying the Future Turism and the future income .She complains how awful is near Uyuni, the roads ,she said: Noraly If is awful spent some money ,pay for guides dont be so cheap.People think that Bolivia is so ugly ,thanks to this lady that only wants to visit the places that are the worst and cheap. How about showing all the bad places in her country ,people dont will ever like to visit her country too. Bolivia is Beautiful Country and wants tourists but not this kind of people that explote in videos for her income.
You are the best possible ad for Royal Enfield! If Dhanno can make it over so much washboard road without blowing the shock absorbers, then it is huge testimony in favor of their bikes. Good luck on the road!
Yeeahh, new video! Gotta watch it fast!
Welcome to Bolivia 🇧🇴 👍👍👍
love u! thanks for bringing us along on your adventure
"And here I am at 4700 mtrs" OMG...... That is higher than Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Western Europe!!!!!!! Noraly you are truly amazing..... :-))))) xxxx
