Love the way you simplify things by telling us the ratio of veg to sugar and vinegar. Thank you, I love your videos

fantastic recipe...
Lovely
Must try thankyou
Great recipe. And what a nice video.
what a sweet lady ❤️😍
You are so lovely. Stay blessed
Thanks Mary Berry!!! YUM!
Tks, this lasts 2 years you mentioned, did you have to treat the jars and heat them up first prior to filling so to seal etc. Tks
You sterilise your jars first, then fill in the chutney, close the lid firmly and turn the jars upside down for a while to let the air bubbles out. You can then turn them over again, check for a second time, if the lids are screwed on properly, let the chutney cool down, label the jars of you like to and store them in a dark cool place such as your storage cupboard or pantry.
Why does Mary always wink at me - the saucy minx!
So the jars will automatically seal?
They should if the chutney is hot when you fill the jar. Experiment by making a small lot first, or give it away and try again. Personally I haven't tried this recipe but will shortly and if it doesn't seal I will pop the lids on and cover the jars in a deep pot and rolling boil for 15 minutes. This will definitely seal the lids. Happy new year
This looks delicious 😋
How do I get the recipe for chutney

Could do with a liklnk to revipe
Never eaten chutney weird concept to me... Sweet vegetables
Yes who would ever have thought sweet vegetables would taste good, it's almost as if humans haven't been doing it for hundreds of years.......
Mary, you are a beautiful lady.

Just one little pinch of pepper for the whole pot? 😶
You've clearly heard her say that she put it to her liking. Stop
Why would she add more pepper? Didn't you see the chilli and all the crushed mustard seeds she added?
It looks like a confiture de ratatouille au vinaigre. Poor ratatouille, why treat it so badly? 😢
Is that chutney?
No raisins ? How strange !!
No raisins in chutney PLEASE🙏
Agree
360g of sugar?? No thanks
Zero nutrition coz cooked to oblivion. Can't be tasty either. Gotta have one or the other.
To her
Sugar = Tasty
