The lack of android auto is why I've sworn off imports unless there is a global version. Would've loved to pick this up, but no global version is a no go for me
a lot of folks feel the same way man- I don't really use android auto so its not that bad for me
Good video Joseph. After watching this, I think I'm going to wait for a possible global launch of this device. If it doesn't launch globally, then I'll just wait for the Google Pixel Fold to experience this similar form-factor.
On another note, I am a bit curious as to why you never picked up the Vivo X Fold or the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2?
that is a smart decision to wait- I believe the Pixel will be a great device for sure- i believe i didn't pick up those other 2 phones just of timing reason and having the funds available to get them. i will look at getting another import this year
The pixel fold will be the same price as the zfold 4 per leaks and for a 1st gen pixel fold it most definitely won't be work it

@@johnpineda8478- I think I'd take my chances with the Pixel Fold, because at least I know it will be fully optimized for use in the United States. At least I know that I won't have to do a lot of tinkering with the device settings to get all of the features and notifications to work here. Plus, there's a chance that the first gen Pixel Fold could actually knock it out of the park on its first try, they've been working on it for so long.

So did you get around Android Auto not working on this device? Like using Bluetooth with another app to play music in the car?
no android auto but bluetooth music is good
I just got this phone and it does work with the Galaxy watch original the one with the spinning bezel with Tizen I also have the watch 5 pro and does not work and also another Fossile watch with wear os and does not work but I'm assuming all Galaxy 2atches that run Tizen will work as the Galaxy watch works perfect.

Nice Review. I'm with you in all points. Didn't knew about the Android Auto 😒. I love the phone cause of the weight, easy to carry and form factor but at times think about using the fold because of those things. Hope at some time Samsung comes up with a foldable with this dimensions. Keep going at it. I was also looking for cases 😂

Thanx for the review. I’d love to get this but too many reasons not to. I think just wait for the Google Pixel Fold as this is supposedly meant to be a similar form factor
If the Pixel comes in this form factor will be huge in sales. I always thought it was going to be like the fold.

Good looking device but with no cases or screen protectors and bad connectivity I see this heading to Swappa...😆
Not Swappa but I have someone already asking to buy it. Always got to get new devices into the Forbes Lab

I have plenty of cases and screen protectors and absolutely no connectivity issues here in the UK
@@daz7171 have 3 different hinge cases all come with tempered glass screen protector and I recently had to buy an internal screen protector as a friend who used my phone for 2 minutes handed me the phone back with a scratched screen protector 😢

A global variant would resolve most of these issues. Hopefully they decide to release a global version soon.

How do to receive group text from iPhone users to oppo?
I have the n2flip and I'm having the same issue, android auto does not work even when i install the app, the app says becasue android auto is not already preinstalled in the phone and contact manufacturer
