Nerd Soup Love these rewind reviews!
continue posting your reviews...... i love watching your video!!!! #welovenerdsoup
You guys have me re-watching the whole show for the 8th time 😩.... this is just selfish 😒
I think you guys meant "SanSan"
Sandor & Sansa = SanSan.
I like this theory because she always wanted to marry a handsome, brave, noble knight and it would be ironic for her to choose Sandor who publicly claims that he is "no knight" yet one of the most noble and gentle characters in the story. He protects Sansa and Arya. He will either be Sansa's Queens Guard or she will end up marrying him but I think in the end she will chose to remarry Tyrion and they both will rule westeros together ending the war between Starks and Lanisters the same as Henry Tudor married Princess Elizabeth York to end the war of the roses and created a new house combining both houses.
Thanks for dollar shave link!!!
"I'm not a cripple"
"Then I'm not a dwarf. My father will be rejoiced to hear it"
Classic Tyrion.
Ba dum dum PSSSH 🥁
One thing I'd always appreciated was Doreah dripping candle wax on Viserys, the discomfort followed by the "Ow". Not huge but being that even in our first introduction to Dany we're shown how heat doesn't seem to hurt her, it seems to add to the "Fire can not kill a Dragon"
Troy Garcia
She also drops a bomb when she talks about what she's seen: a "man who could change his face the way other man change their clothes", a faceless man. 😎
Good noticing
She also walks in to a fire hot bath.
Because she knows it doesn't hurt.
But to go against it Jon snow is a Dragon
"Fire can not kill a Dragon" but he burned himself.
Even Jamie knew Theon wasn’t loyal. Tyrion got that out of just one conversation. How did the Starks miss that for years? Do they just sit down and imagine honorable things all day?
Yes, that's how they are. The Starks are idealists.
The Starks didn't miss Theon's disloyalty. Theon was a hostage, being the last legitimate son of the Greyjoy leader who had rebelled a decade earlier. Ned treated Theon as a fostering son because Ned and Robert had been fostered with John Arran. Fostering (not adoption) was used as another way (other than marriage) of connecting important families. Theon resented his position and his father despised him for his dandified manners and clothing when Theon returned to the Iron Islands.
@@rodritchison1995 Like Jon said, Ned was more a father to Theon than Balon ever was.
As much as I love the Starks for how honorable they are they can be very naive. And as much as I hate the Lannisters for how bad they are they can be very cunning and smart. So looking at the two is the perfect embodiment of all the good traits, because one can be honorable and cunning.
Oh wait, he already exists, and his name is Tyrion!
@@someokiedude9549 When did Balom imprison Theon?
I look forward to these every Tuesday. That means you can’t quit half way through season 2 lol
dylan weisbarth same
Don't stop
You know, I'd normally say you're milking it because GOT will end soon, but honestly, it's really cool to re-watch the show from the start. I had no idea what 90% of the scenes were about until much later episodes, so it's great to see that everything was there for a reason and they didn't just make stuff up as they went along. I can't imagine writing stories like this with so many damn characters and relations.
You mention the age of the guy who plays the mountain, what i alwya found crazy was that the guy who played Jojen Reed was only a year younger than the mountain.
WHAT :O ?!
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Ser Hugh's death was arranged by Littlefinger for the same reason he had Dontos. Littlefinger and Lysa arranged for Jon Arryn's death, and Ser Hugh helped them in exchange for money and knighthood. That's how Ser Hugh was able to afford his armor. Littlefinger arranged for Hugh to die so he could never talk about it, willingly or under interrogation.
"San San"
Wooo!! Keeping up with it. Love you guys, and good to see a sponsor. Maybe you'll make a few bucks while placating us mere peasants!
Dollar shave club is awesome, we get it every month, it’s cheaper, & better quality razors, they come through our mail. I LOVE it! Great sponsor! Excellent product! More GOT Revisits! Best Show on TV!!
Omg I was worried you guys weren’t gonna upload this!
That saddle that Tyrion drew looks pretty simple, but the weird thing is that in history many simple things were invented much later than one might think, or were at least not used widely.
The stirrup for example only became popular in Europe in the 7th century.
So coming up with that design might not really be as obvious as it seems to people of that time.
I was getting worried that you were giving up already!!! Had me scared lol. Thanks for doing these!!!!

What about the tub scene when she talks about all the things she's seen.. the man who can change his face like changing clothes.. and pirate who works for stannis.. I thought that was the most interesting foreshadowing of characters we will meet and you guys didn't mention it.. I understand but still.. was interested on your take.
You guys honestly have some of the funniest and best GOT commentary out there, I don't know why you don't have more subs!
In the books there's obviously more detail about who killed Ser Hugh. Essentially he was in the position necessary to poison Jon Arryn. This combined with the fact that he was knighted by the lannisters makes it likely they killed him to keep him quiet.
Logan smith except now of course we know it was Lysa
Godspeed well yeah
Love this channel so much. So happy I found it
Renly's the attorney general haha
You guys ever notice in the scene where Jon and Sam are discussing Jon's mother, on the post in the background, "R L" is carved? Pause 18:54 , the post between Jon and Sam.
"lemme smell ya" I'm crying
Another great video, 626 likes and zero dislikes is awesome to see around here. Would have been nice if you guys commented on the line that Tyrion says to bran after Bran says "I'm not a cripple" and Tyrion replies with "Then I'm not a dwarf, my father will rejoice."
Watching that scene the for the first time was entertaining in a way but rewatching it in later years after realizing how much Tyrion had to endure because of how he was born, it's dark in such an interesting way and it's fascinating to see how much he utilized that to get what he wants and become the man he is today.
It's great how you're not cutting Theon any slack!
I have to tell you, that, my mom watches this show, and she thinks it's way to violent for her to really enjoy it. But when I asked her: ''Mom, you know Theon from Game of Thrones, am I psycho if I was really enjoying it when Ramsay tortured him?''
And she just said in the kindest way possible: ''Well.. I don't know. He was pretty crazy, with how he killed those farmboys and all that''
In Sansa’s defense she was raised and taught to be shallow like most princesses would be. So yes she was naive but how the hell could she know better at that point.
Jenice amber Lyanna Mormont
All I’m saying
I don't know enough about her background/upbringing to make a case, however perhaps Lyanna wasn''t expected to be brought up like a princess. Maybe her parents, or whoever raised her taught her to be more rugged. I don't have a strong stance for or against how Sansa was/is but I think things like nature vs nurture could be considered.
Thanks for doing this guys! Love this channel.
Thanks for uploading! I love listening to these at work
Great as always! Thanks for the GOT fix.
Favorite part of my week. Love your commentary!

I love the every episode reviews so far! I got hooked on the season reviews when I was on maternity leave and I need GOT in my life until it returns to us!! Keep up the awesome work!
Guys! Keep it up!!!! I just love these so much! Others have attempted doing this, but you guys not only make it entertaining, but also point out some details I may have missed! That’s tough to do since I have literally rewatched the entire series at LEAST 10 times! Side note...when you guys were laughing about the Robert/Blackberry Jam Scene, and you ran up to the screen, I literally spit my coffee out because I busted out laughing!!!! So freaking funny!!!! 😭 ☕️ Can’t wait for the next one!!!! 🐛🐒 🍜
Man, I love these! Keep goin' boys. You can do it.
I seriously can't wait for you guys to review the fifth episode. That's my favorite episode of the first season.
You know when you get 129 likes with zero dislikes in an age where everyone dislikes everything you are doing a great job guys. Big fan and really enjoy all your videos
Haha man you guys are awesome!Just keep doing you and brightening peoples days by it!
Awesome work as always
I really appreciate and love you guys!
This episode was one of my favorites for a long time.
The episode that made me immediately hooked to game of thrones.
Love these! Don't quit!
Just wanna let you guys know I'm pitching you to all my friends all the time. You are really talented. I just re-watched Westworld with my girlfriend cause she hadn't seen it, and I'm having a blast going back through all the westworld videos. Game of thrones got me here, but damn is this a good channel. Keep up the good work. Never lose the artwork either, it's unique and I find it extremely fun to watch in conjunction with yourr great content and great wit. You've got this kinda random absurd humor similar to my friends, who all grew up on Stella, The State, Wet Hot Americans summer as kind of our general source of comedy.
Unless we go to the real good stuff, way back. The 3 Amigos. Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, Martin Short... That'll show floogleman a thing or two.
Always exciting to get a new video from you guys! What ever happened to the other two?
That last scene where Catelyn apprehends Tyrion is probably one of my favourite scenes in the show. I remember watching it the for the first time and getting goosebumps. Then I read the chapter in the book. Goosebumps. And even in the rewatch I did after season 5 came out, goosebumps. Damn, I love that scene.
Thank you, great vid
man i love y'alls videos just so damn good thank u
Woooo the fanart this time ! Amazing...
YAY! Thank you!!
Nerd soup was a fookin legend in gin alley! A FOOKIN LEGEND!!
I really like the concept, please don't give up ! And also it is nice that Mr. Monkey is a fan of Littlefinger, he's my favorite character so it is wonderful to listen to someone saying nice things about him : Mr. Monkey you have to keep doing that, that is your mission
I'm loving this.
Keep it up great job. Hope u finish this.
keep going boys. you guys rock
i actually really don't like when littlefinger tells sansa the story about the Hound. it just doesn't make any sense.. like why would he do that? I'm reading the books now and I think the show really fucked up by getting rid of the scene of the hound walking sansa to the castle and telling her the story himself. they missed out on a lot of character development of the hound.
I appreciate the details- like the Lil John shout out. 😂💯
You guys notice in the scene with Viserys & Doreah, when he's rattling off the dragons' names that instead of naming Vermithor from this series, he names Vermithrax from Dragonslayer. I love that they slid that in there.
I know it’s my opinion , but I think your channel is fantastic , I love these reviews you’re uploading 👌
"You think you know Game of Thrones bro??" Love you guys and your insight!!!
Don’t stop making these! So funny
i love these videos. I LOVE THEM....!!!!!!
Theon shouldn't have any anymosity towards the Starks? Look, Theon was Ned's hostage, taken from his family when he was a kid of 8-10 years old. IF Balon Greyjoy rebelled again, Ned would behead Theon. I hate it when people make these videos and still haven't understood such a crucial part.
I love how when you guys did these season 8 wasn't out yet.
Please don't give this up! You guys are a great companion to the show, a great after show.
Also great advertising guys, It's always more fun when you involve yourselves in the ad.
Also also #The Monkey never forgets!
I do love how all the main players in season 8 are like side characters in season 1.
Keep it going guys!
Love this shit man. You guys are my fav channel
Blue thing aint to shabby either.... Love your channel
Omg yes thank you thank you thank you!
Hey you can’t slip a black panther quote in and not acknowledge it NerdSoup.
zachary walters what was the quote? I haven’t seen the movie
I was about to say
Alex You should it lives up to the hype nd they did a review of it too
8:25 It's hard to be a good man and a good king
Looking forward to Monday
Good stuff guys keep it up
Love the video!
I need to rewatch this episode, lots of things I apparently missed.
The more I see these rewatches the more I miss Mark Addy.....MAN there has NOT been another actor to own the screen since.......WINE!!!!!!!!!!
It’s crazy that you now have over 150,000 subscribers. I believe I was here when you had like 3,000
Binging these lol
But yeah, my favorite part of this episode/chapter in the books is Gendry in general. Literally one look and Ned's like "Goddamn it Robert, can't keep it in his pants." And in the books he just does the math in his head like "you must've been conceived during the rebellion if my calculations are correct"
Which is even funnier in the episode where Stannis meets Gendry cuz he also just looks him up and down and knows who he is lmao
Damn even these two are sponsoring. Dollar shave club lol. Pretty cool episode.
I do not watch these videos in order and not gonna lie kinda spooked that the one I randomly clicked today started with a “happy Valentine’s Day” but it was posted last year
17:55 Remember that the bravosee consider death a gift! You should reconsider!
i liked before watching
Tryhard
I am rewatching all the revisits and ironically Bo says happy valentines day... on valentines day a year later lol
That 100% like rate though. You deserve it!
You can't use Nerfherder! That's our word. Bwaaaaa!! You guys are great. Love every review of GOT. Please keep them coming.
You're making these too fast, I haven't even watched ep 3 yet! KO keep them coming :D
The brilliance of the "borrowing" from Tolkein is that it's just enough of a percentage to dodge a lawsuit.
Homage is beautiful. Everything else is obvious.
Still love the series....and thats the point
The killing (murder) of Ser Hugh of the Vale by The Mountain in the Hand's Tourney could well have been arranged by Littlefinger without needing to instruct or cajole or bribe Clegane at all. Littlefinger is subtle and devious, and he lays many plans and traps; if one doesn't come off, another will. Knowing the Mountain as he does, he must know - as indeed The Hound did - that if he saw a flaw in his opponent that he could use to his advantage and slake his lust for violence, he would take it. So all Littlefinger had to do was to ensure that the naive freshly minted knight's squire failed to ensure that his gorget (armour protecting the throat) was secure. The Mountain would not be able to resist, job done, nothing to connect the "accident" to Baelish. Although there may be one fewer anonymous squire in King's Landing come that evening...
The Sansa Hound ship is called SanSan Nerd Soup! I love Cersei's, "As was I." Of course Lannister's are trained to kill their enemies.
Ok were going strong keep it up guys!!
please make a review of altered carbon
Where do you guys get your GoT art? It's spectacular!
I love you guys
In this episode, as I rewatched I noticed Varys give a bit of a frown to Ned right as Ned is saying he will give Janos 20 of his household guard. I'm certain that was meant to show that Varys disapproves of this because it means Ned is in more danger. And toward the end of the season, we do find out that Varys is the closest thing to an ally Ned has on the council. Tiny detail, but it shows that Varys does really (sort of) care about Ned's safety at this point.
