Interview broadcast at 1995-06-30 before his performance at Roskilde Festival, Denmark. Quote: "Every emotion has a sound" -uploaded in HD at www.TunesToTube.com
“My lyrics aren’t that impressive” B O I.... Wow, what a standard for lyrics this man had, it’s crazy to think what his reaction would be to the quality of lyrics nowadays.
I could listen to an infinite number of Jeff's interviews. Hearing him articulate himself is an experience. Just like hearing his music is an extraordinary experience. 🖤
18:13 since i was 13 (years old) i felt like a fuddy-duddy - 20:10 i don't think on stage. i act. I am totally in the present...intoxicated...like you make love or have a fight... you don't think about yesterday or tomorrow, now's the time and it's accurate emotions make real... to feel real...to just get deeper in the music.
19:23 worry is in your energy..it keeps you from reality. 19:50....i'm not cynical...i'm quite romantic....please stop me before i speak anymore...(haha)
Does anyone know who conducted this interview? I wonder if it was videotaped. The interviewer mentions that they are on a “program.” Which program would that be?
That’s probably correct: flowersintime.org/show.php?gigid=310 Where did you get the audio from? I wish I knew the interviewer’s name and the radio station, as I have many questions that I would like to ask them. One would think that said festival was filmed. I have only seen audience shot footage, though, of The Cure’s set.
I think about the moment I first heard about him going "missing" (at first), and then his passing being confirmed. I think about those moments a lot, actually. I was 18, and was on a 'beach week' after having just graduated from high school. I was crushed.. and it actually made me take pause, take stock, and change the trajectory of my entire life path.. in so many amazing ways, upon reflection. One of those "oh wow, better get living fully and passionately while you're here.. because none of knows how much time we have.." moments that shakes you out of your sense of somnambulance.
kiran ...yes, collector's...And then "in your body that's typical for boys"...Then Jeff starts talking and I can't understand the word/s before "attraction". The interviewer is Danish, so his grammar might be a bit wrong...
I'm fucking dead. The interviewer abruptly stopped at the end after he did the impression of a German mocking an American. As if Jeff called him the fuck out. 😭😂
Even his speaking voice was beautiful.
18:05 "I'll be old someday"... Gosh, that killed me inside.
..."I'm old, now"...he continues...
The things he could be doing, the songs... Everything comes like a wind's whisper and vanishes fast, like life itself.
he had so much to give..
"hello hi hi hello hello alo ALÓ hello - just woke up to find out my name is buckle" hahaha i adore him 😭

It's a public broadcasting by the radio station probably, not a TV program I think.

Mojo doing the research , u got the best Jeff Buckley vids man
"I'm 70% water.. and 50% of that is girl-water.." I miss him *~*
14:35 70% water and 30% girl-water (=100% per cent)
I think about the moment I first heard about him going "missing" (at first), and then his passing being confirmed. I think about those moments a lot, actually. 50% of 70% = 35% ... ie. Half of 70%
@@sofianoiti I think he was saying 50% of the 70% water is “girl water”.
!
What does the interviewer say at 14:17? "Would you say that you also have this (collector's?) gene in your body? You know....boys....attraction...."
kiran ...yes, collector's...And then "in your body that's typical for boys"...Then Jeff starts talking and I can't understand the word/s before "attraction".
The interviewer is Danish, so his grammar might be a bit wrong...
interesting the discussion of gender @ around 13:30
Charles Perrone very!
