Well, that interview degenerated quite rapidly, Jeff did a great job of keeping it afloat.

Eghhh, Jeff was great of course 😊, but apart from the disrespect she had towards him regarding his father, clearly uncomfortable for him, then literally asking if he ever likes to 'romp' to his father's albums like wtfff clearly not listening much to him.

It's so funny to hear his telling about the Italian concert...! He was playing at the Festa dell'Unità, that is not a music festival, but an event made in many places in summer, with street food and market; In the beginning it was organized by the communist party, but from 1992 it passed in the hands of the democratic party (as the communist party was closed some years after the Berlin wall felt down).
In the weekend nights there's always some free gig, sometimes a good one, but I think that with Jeff Buckley they reached the top of guests for years and years..! It's strange that their manager took that particular place to play, instead of a more suitable rock festival... but I'm really glad that he played in my country, and he liked it too!

I heard this interview when I was 15. I was at our holiday house at Valla in NSW. I have loved Jeff B ever since. Last Goodbye is so, so different and addictive.

Hey folks, actually he didn't support communist party, he played at Festa dell'Unità, that is a summer festival of all the left parties in Italy. Then, in Italy we use to have an important communist party, but it was just a party in the democratic parliament, and actually a good one (to help the working class and women rights). Nothing to compare with communist dictatures around the world. NOthing, really.
