Hey Colors... my neighbor from across the street just called and has now been inspired by you as well… It brings tears to my eyes… Her father is in a adult assisted-living home... although she has not been allowed in to see him for five weeks because of the Covid lockdown… She knows the day is soon coming when she will be allowed to visit him and all the nurses that take care of him… So she has decided to make your little gnomes for all the patients/families and nurses/doctors to brighten their days... your kindness and creativity is reaching out all over… You are such a beautiful angel!!! I will try to find out what her total count will be… I am sure it will be up there...AMAZING!!! The joy you have brought and will continue to bring…XOXOXOXOXO. 💜💜😇💙💙👨👩👦💚💚👩⚕️🧑⚕️🤍🤍🥰💖💖🙏🙏🙏🧡🧡👼🤎🤎🙌
Hey Kami, That’s sweet that your neighbor friend is making the little Peasy’s too! That’s definitely one of the hard things right now, how much we miss our family’s. Tell her I’m hoping she’s able to make as many as she needs to give to all those great people that are helping out!! You all stay safe!! Talk to you again soon!!:)
I really love all your creations. Made Luna and she turned out wonderful! Now I am ready for more. You really are a gifted crafter and love your tutorials. Very helpful. God Bless!
Hey Colors... well I’ve missed you so… Is he not the cutest??? Mr. Hayseed Hank... Best name ever!!! The hat is absolutely genius and I love the bend in the arms... I hope you finished your home project and I hope it came out an absolute success!!! The hoodie you’re wearing in the video is definitely your color… You look so pretty and comfy cozy today… just to keep you up to speed and I finished all the little gnomes and made three extra for my niece, nephew and brother… What a big project for me to take on even though it was very much appreciated I don’t think I’ll be doing that anytime soon again LOL… I burned a couple of my fingers pretty good with the glue gun... and over killed my eyes but live in learn is what I always say… I could have never accomplished it without you so for that I’m very grateful!!! Also in case anyone’s keeping score it ended up being a grand total of 121 wow!!! I hear in the background your camera woman is sniffling… I hope and pray all is well and it’s just allergies… I hope and pray you all are staying safe and keeping very very healthy... I need to get your smiley mail address so I can send you out a big thanks!!! Okey-dokey Smokey let me wrap this up by saying it was very nice to see you today and your New little fella...please keep sharing your awesome ideas...XOXOXOXOXO Kami 💜💜🙏💚💚🙌🧡🧡👍💙💙🥕🤍🤍🤗🤎🤎🎨💖💖
Hey Kami, Nice to hear from you! So happy you accomplished your project!! Thanks for all your compliments about Hayseed Hank. Our home project turned out beautifully. I’ve come to call the Easiest Peasiest Gnomes “ My little Peasy’s”. Lol.
OMG, this little guy is sooo stinking cute. I had to laugh at the name, but it fits him. Love love love him. Again a job well done. Thank you for showing him.Lenore
Hey Cholista, Thank you! I am working on a cowboy Gnome since I got your first request. Hopefully I will be able to put it on soon. Thanks for watching and commenting!!:)
Could you at the beginning of your video go over the supplies needed for the particular gnome. Also, could the camera be on the table as you’re working on the gnome. Thanks so much! Love your videos!
Good morning, could you please tell me were you buy the little staw hats . Thank you, You do a great job explaining your crafts !!!!! Thanks soooo much. Charlotte, Bethany, PA
Adorable! Another one to add to my collection! I have a couple of questions? #1. Do you save your scraps? If so what do you use them for? #2. Have you ever seen these gnomes? I really appreciate you sharing you’re skills and talents with us. Thank you. P.S. Walmart has a large roll, it’s a little thicker than Dollar Tree’s but it has less knots, and comparing yard to yard Walmart jute is a better buy!
@@theworldofcolors sorry I misspelled a word in my question? Do you ever sew your gnomes? I happen t Live the videos! I am going to a wedding in a couple of weeks and will thought the bride & groom would be fun to take along as an extra gift! 👰 🤵
Hi Evelynne, no, I never sew my gnomes. I only do the hot glue. I’m thinking it would be a lovely extra gift to take them the bride and groom. What a wonderful handcrafted keepsake for them!!:)
He's really cute. Can U list his supply size for his hat n where did U get the little straw hat? Glad U added in that U doubled the sock n added the jute around his cuffs. U come up with the cutest names! I read that reply from another viewer n I got the same rotten text but both had different names tho. Y do some people be so rude.
Oh, my goodness! This fellow is so cute. Looks like he works in the feed store. What size is the faux fur cut for beard? Did the burlap for hat come from Joann’s Fabric? This fellow reminds me of the Wizard on Harry Potter trio. Is that a good idea? You sure have a world of color imagination and I love you sharing them with us on FB. Thanks so much! Happy Crafting! Stay safe!
Hey Shirley, After you stuff your sock and attach the nose, measure from the nose to the surface of the table. Cut that size beard .After you cut the slit at the top of the beard and attach it it will be the right length which is very long. Thanks for watching and always commenting, I appreciate your feedback!!:)
Great gnome. Have to say I'm a little disappointed that you didn't say where you got the materials. Would you please say where you found the burlap material and the little straw hat? Thank you so much. I really enjoy your videos
Hey Amy, Sorry I left out that information. I got the little 5 inch straw hats from Amazon and I’ve had the burlap awhile and I can’t remember where I got it. Thanks for watching and commenting!!:)
Hi Eleanor, Thanks and I appreciate your asking! We have an Etsy shop we are just starting. I went ahead and put a Hayseed Hank in there this morning so you could go view him. Go to Etsy and we are Worldofcolorsdiy. Thanks Eleanor
Hi TSAM333, I used a tight woven burlap for the hat with a 5 inch straw hat brim. The burlap for the middle of the hat would be 7 inches tall and 6 inches wide. This is before you glue the seams and glue it together. Thanks for asking! Have a great day!!:)
The glue gun I use has a low and a high temperature setting. I use the low. It’s made by Gorilla and it’s orange. I purchased it at Walmart. Thanks for your comments and thanks for watching!!:)
Thanks!! I really enjoyed making him!! Thanks for watching and commenting!!:) See my Instagram page soon for the coming up Gnome. You will love him!!:)

What materiak did you use for hat? How long / measurements for hat? thanks

Do you ever make one with the baseball bat and glove
Hi Judith, That’s a great idea!! I will keep it in mind and see what comes out of it. Thanks!!:)
does the hot glue melt the rubber bands?
Hi Janet, I use a low temperature glue gun and I haven’t had any problems.:)
Everytime i glue on the hands or nose the elastic breaks from the hot glue , i see that never happens to you ??
The glue gun I use has a low and a high temperature setting. I use the low. It’s made by Gorilla and it’s orange. I purchased it at Walmart. Thanks for your comments and thanks for watching!!:)
How much do you sell your gno.es for?
Hey Patricia, We are trying to put inventory in our new Etsy shop. Hayseed Hank is in there I think as a set. Pete moss,Hay Seed Hank, and petunia.
The Etsy address is WorldOfColorsDIY
Im confused because you're not saying measurements
Hi Lori, Sorry if I didn’t give a measurement. Let me know what it is and I will try and get back to you with it. Thanks!!:)
@@theworldofcolors I only saw the 1st part of measurements of Hayseed Hank. Thank you
I love him but no measurements for straw hat or beard. Confused also. Is his straw brim 4 or 5 inches and beard?
