I want to thank you for your time and how you inspire each and every one of us who makes the gnomes from your patterns. You explain and take the time to explain each and every step. I will have to say you are at the top of my list of helping and making gnomes so much fun to make. Also thanks goes out to your wife as well . I will continue being a customers of yours.
Do you have a Geisha tutorial available? I lived in Japan and would enjoy seeing how you constructed her! In this gnome coat tutorial I can see an overview, only!! Thanks for sharing! 👏🥰🇺🇸
If using a fabric that frays I fold over just a small amount and glue down in the inside of the coat. If adding a fur trim, I glue the trim all the way around and that keeps materials from fraying.
@@duanedking8498 u are very welcome, us paddys will defo keep u on your toes for sure 😂 I only came across your channel a while back & I'm enjoying it so keep them coming 🇮🇪🇮🇪
I love your work...,I made so many for Christmas gift and everyone loved them. Thank you! Have you tried making legs? I would also like to sell mine. Would that be a problem given copyrights and all. Would not do that if so.
So glad to hear that everyone loved your Christmas gift gnomes. I appreciate you asking and have no problem with you selling your gnomes. We all have our own creative styles. Hope you do well. I have done a few gnomes with legs.
Favorite cloth? I like working with felt for the bodies. Printed cottons I also like for the hats and coats because they help tell a story and give character. I also like buying heavy curtains at thrift stores to use for gnome coats because of how stiff they are.
That's so interesting! My craft room is now filled with cloths, and I'm starting to collect all sorts of things. Thank you so much for showing me this craft. I love it. I am grateful for your show. Keep them coming, Dwane!
Hi Duane. I've been watching and learning how to make gnomes for quite awhile now. Today I was lucky enough to find your tutorial site. You are amazing. So very informative with so many variations for any adjustments a crafter may have. One question, or maybe I just haven't found all your tutorials, have you made any female gnomes? Thank you so much. Please keep teaching us all your tricks of the trade. By the way, you do a beautiful blanket stitch. Diane Sheely, CA
What kind of hot glue do you use? Is it just plain hot glue or is there a hot glue that is better for fabric? Thank you, I love how easy you make this for us to follow.
Daryll’s hat is on a tutorial posted on the Facebook gnome groups Let’s Make Gnomes and Gnome Sweet Gnome. Also patterns are available on Etsy Http://www.etsy.com/shop/HeartFeltCreations99
Greetings There are several gnome groups on Facebook. Let’s Make Gnomes or Gnome Sweet Gnome are a couple of the bigger groups. My patterns are available on Etsy Http://www.Etsy.com/shop/Heartfeltcreations99
As long as the bottom of the body of the gnome is still based on the basic 5.5 inches, I would keep the bottom of the coat at 4.5 inches. Just need to modify the length of the coat.
Could you please send me the measurements for your body and coat and arms. It was really hard to see them they where written small. My hearing isn't very good either. I would greatly appreciate it if you would. Thank you so much.

I love the way you explain each one that you make. I am a newbie to all of this and was wondering if you had any patterns that you would like to sell? Thank you
So sorry Im confused on the measurements. One video say 6 inches long, 5 1/2 inch on top and 4 1/2 bottom. Another is 6 L,2 /14 wide on top and 4 1/2 on bottom. I did the first and didnt match up so do the second. Thanks

How would you make a coat if your using a cone since it’s more round ? Your videos are great !
I have made several coats when using a cone. I usually just add an inch to the base and an inch to the height.
What kind of hot glue do you use? Is it just plain hot glue or is there a hot glue that is better for fabric? Thank you, I love how easy you make this for us to follow.
I use a surebonder glue gun with the surebonder glue sticks.
