Funnily enough, several years ago, I did check the Greek edition of the “New World Translation” against the “Kingdom Interlinear” in a number of texts. Granted, I didn’t (and still don’t) speak Greek. Nonetheless, even I could tell the differences in the texts I checked. Admittedly, the books of the New Testament were written in Koíne Greek and the Greek edition of the “New World Translation” is in modern Greek; however, the language hasn’t changed so much as to justify the addition or removal of certain words in the text even in allegedly 1,900 years. Around the same time, I had heard that the actual policy of the Society is that, when an edition of the “New World Translation” is approved for a given language, the translators are required to use the English edition as their basis. When the English text can not readily be translated into the edition being prepared, the translators are required to request the Society for approval in rendering an adjustment to accommodate the local language.
It seems that this should not have been the case with the Greek edition as, after all, the books of the New Testament were written in an earlier form of the language, and the language itself hasn’t changed so much since then-even allowing for developments in 1,900 years. However, the Greek edition of the “New World Translation” was prepared in such a way as to correspond with the English edition when it would have been much simpler-to say nothing of far more accurate-to follow the “Kingdom Interlinear” at least for the books of the New Testament.
Of course, I know from personal experience that the “Kingdom Interlinear” is the literary equivalent of a hydrogen bomb to the doctrines of the Society: It completely devastated my confidence in the Society’s claim to be the purveyor of “Truth” to humankind. Even so, that conclusion makes me wonder if this is why a “Kingdom Interlinear” translation of the Hebrew-Aramaic Scriptures has to date not been prepared.

Thank you, your deep dives are very interesting and fascinating, learning about such topics clearly shows you how thorough someone's imagination can be in creating a quite complex system of beliefs or a religion, with, as usual, a total misrepresentation or outright denial of the real data, of course.
It's so sad that my entire family is still fully PIMI and I'm the only one... It's also very telling that, for instance, absolutely no one accepted my suggestion to open and actually verify the citations in the publications for themselves, they literally each gave the same, rehearsed response: "We have brothers and sisters in the publication and research department who have checked everything for us, so we don't have to do it", I was astonished, realizing that this was me a very short time ago, being completely brainwashed and devoid of any critical thinking skills or rational thought...
Thank you for your work that will help someone like me to finally be free of this trap and live their true life

I remember asking my study conductor questions about the paradise that had no biblical answer. He just said that Jehovah would "satisfy the desires of every living thing" Its a popular verse repeated in jw paradise doctrine. He also used an illustration of a wedding and how if you were invited to one, would you ask detailed questions about what kind of silverware or plates they would be using at the wedding reception.....no you wouldnt and it would be rude to do so. All you needed to know was that there would be a wedding and that it would be a joyous occasion. So dont ask questions lol There are so many delusional concepts of paradise and doctrines in print that jws are told to believe. If you don't believe that paradise will be as they say it is then your faith should be strong enough to know that Jeh will "satisfy the desires of all living things" Like the details of resurrected ones etc etc. Thanks for highlighting the language doctrine. I remember in the 90s when it was talked about. Maybe if Jehovah didn't confuse human language at Babel the world would have been able to understand the Hebrew book that has been translated and changed throughout history and more humans could have learnt about him without confusion and be saved instead of destroyed lol.

      @thomash.schwed3662 2 месяца назад +1

It’s ironic-to say nothing of betraying an utter lack of self-awareness-for your study servant to use the wedding analogy. After all, according to the Bible, the “great multitude”, those invited to attend the wedding, are said to be the companions of the bride. This would necessitate the “great multitude” being in heaven if they are to attend “the marriage of the Lamb”. The irony comes in the fact that the Society used to teach as much, only to reject it May 30, 1935, in favor of declaring the “great multitude” to be a prospective earthly class.

To edify JW folklore a bit, and set the record straight, the Sumerian language and cuneiform writing was far more widespread and pre-dates Hebrew by “several” thousand years.
Cuneiform began as clay tokens used for accounting around 8000-3500 BC, through pictographic signs around 3500-3000 BC, and finally to phonetic signs around 3000-1500 BC. By 2800 BCE, the typical wedge-shaped cuneiform was in use. It was further developed during the Early Dynastic Period of Mesopotamia from 2900-2334 BCE, and adapted to write other regional languages such as Akkadian, Hurrian, and Hittite. The last known cuneiform inscription was written in 75 AD, and the ability to read it may have lasted until the third century AD.
Whereas Paleo-Hebrew script was used in Israel and Judah, and throughout Canaan, from the 900-600 BCE. The Hebrew alphabet evolved into a proto-Hebrew script around 200 BCE, with some letter shapes not becoming standard until the 1st century BCE. After the Babylonian exile, the Jews began using a "square" form of the Aramaic alphabet instead, and the old Hebrew script was only used in Jewish religious contexts until the 1st century BCE. Hebrew was used as a spoken and literary language until the fall of Jerusalem in 587 BCE, and experts believe it was used in daily life until at least the second century BCE.
Clearly cuneiform writing and the early proto-Sumerian language pre-dates Hebrew, which came along much later. Both languages are understood today, with cuneiform having been fully deciphered in the last several hundred years.

I left in the 1980s, and sometime before that I remember a CO reading the story of the fall of Adam and Eve. When he got to the part about the serpent, he said, "And then the serpent opened it's mouth, and said in a perfect Hebrew tongue..." I'm glad you made this video, because so few JWs these days don't even know what their religion teaches. All those quotes from the older publications are covered with "weird" Fred Franz's fingerprints. If Jehovah created all the other languages at Babel, why are they viewed as 'imperfect'? After all, even though languages were supposedly a punishment (according to the Bible account), they did come from Jehovah, so I figured that instead of being an obstacle to communication, the diversity made possible by all these languages could enhance our creative ability to express various ideas. But this is probably why I can now look back on decades of true JW belief as actually being PIMQ the whole time. 😇🤣

I don't know if I was ever really taught this being raised in the religion in the 2000s, but I was very familiar with it through my own research cause I've always been very interested in anything to do with languages. It was probably one of the first things I specifically thought they must have gotten wrong, because they said Adam and Eve probably spoke Hebrew and it was preserved through Shem, but that couldn't be true, because Hebrew derives from the common ancestor of the Semitic languages, Proto-Semitic, and even further back from Proto-Afro-Asiatic. So I concluded they must have spoken that instead, and Jehovah allowed multiple families post-Babel to retain that language (including the progenitors of Egypt and other descendents of Ham), but then they naturally diverged as languages do.
I stopped my research there because I started noticing there might not be enough generations left after that to account for that much language change 😅

When it comes to seasons .. think about it …
      🐇hole incoming.
With all the weather modification, cloud seeding, geoenginering & everything about the weather that “They” control, it’s not far fetched to assume that the seasons were created. H A A R P & “other” agencies have been doing it for decades.
Now imagine, (if you’re an ex jdub, you can), all the gaslighting or as one person said, gas(new)light and manipulation they once rooted in all of us ex’ers. We once believed so strongly in their fairytales, we actually devoted our lives to it. Everything about us was saturated in their cult doctrines. We were convinced. There was no way it wasn’t true. Buuuutttt, then a seed, somewhere along the line, sprouted in us. We started asking questions, doing deep research, etc., learning all the things about the very org we gave our lives to, yet never knew or truly understood until we woke up & left. It’s the same thing with literally everything.
People believe what the news tells them, what g o o g l e (corrupt) tells them, what celebs tell them, what marketing & advertising tell them, etc. It’s hypnotic. Once out, the world stage of narcissist psychopaths does the same thing the cult does to get you to believe anything and control our behavior. It’s all just different branches of one big tree feeding off one root system. Jdubs are a part of it. All (non)organized religion is. The roots are deep and very disturbing.
It’s not a pleasant experience to realize that everything we’ve been indoctrinated with, be it religion or everything else, Is an agenda driven bunch of horse💩.
Anyhow, great video!! Keep up the good work.

No. There will be Watchtower videos and movies....but first, they have to build the electrical grids / solar system set-up & running & keep it maintained. That could take a while.

The tower of Babel was according to Watchtower was about 120 - 140 years after the flood - from 3 breeding pairs with no death and massive numbers of children per pair starting at a young age you may, perhaps, get to 200,000 humans max (with 50% women and about 25% children) at the tower of Babel. Linguists estimates that about 30,000 languages have existed throughout history, the vast majority would have needed to come about at Babel - that is a different language for every 6 - 7 persons. Yeah right. God knows what all these breeding people would eat on a destroyed earth with a tiny tiny animal population, with all the animals heading off as fast as possible to the rest of the planet (feel sorry for the snails). Difficult to know what Nimrod was supposed to be hunting as very few animals; cockroaches perhaps.

Pseudolinguistics prove that languages have evolved over time and one has influenced the next. There's no evidence in history, archaeology or in anthropology of tons of languages popping up out of thin air as the tower of babel story suggests. Rather, there's an overwhelming amount of evidence of the opposite - a gradual development of many languages over time as one language influenced and led to others proceeding it. Think latin led to English and french and Spanish languages etc...Sam thing happened 5-8000 years ago

The verse before this one has all hebrew letters and the finals. If you understand a little Hebrew you may understand. My understand is that the old Hebrew did not have curse words, so many consider it pure. If you have trusted in and Loved Yeshua and called on His name you will one day find out .
