They have also made an verson for the Norwegian Army, its called 2 battalion. If I remember right, the norwegian panser battalion, asked and got the rights to use the orginal song as an team song:) This band is amazing, by my opinion the best ever:)

Missionerna KS18, KS19, FS16 och FS17 består av soldater och officerare som har varit med i NBG, men det är inte NBG som åker ut, viktigt att pointera. / Officer i NBG, numera KS19

this mihgt be a world record. The farthers from shore an ampimbious batalion served. But we Swedes are agile, we adopt easily. i actualy heared that they almoust got sweped away by a thunderstorm, in the midle of the dessert, they choose a wadi as camp site.

The original panzer battalion is about iraq 03 i know it sounds incorrect but if you look at the facts: US marines used a much smaller tank battalion than they did in kuweit due to supply problems (they basicly wanted the tanks to move forward as fast as possible not having to wait for so amny supply trucks) and they also used a tactic called mordernized Blitzkrieg (basicly that's why the song is called panzer battalion)

No no swedish soldier has stealen or raped anyone in Afghanistan! We are there as protection and mentors! Until last year we were not allowed to shot upon enemies until they've shot first! We've lost several men in the duty of UN to protect the lives of children in Afghanistan!
