      The nazis had one of the best military leaders of the century and they killed him off because he wasn't nazi enough for them. The Desert Fox will be remembered.

    overall, T34 is the best tank...
    The Tiger i needed to much material and time to be made, most lost Tigers were due to technical problems. In combat, it is superior but for one Tiger oyu can built probaly 4 T34 or 2 panthers, 2 panthers is by far better choice since panter is better protected and its cannon 75mm is not to be underestimated.
    T34 85 can break Tigers armour pretty well, its easy to made, fast reliable and doesnt need that much material or time.

  • @InkyEU

    I like how they made a really creative tribute to Rommel, commander of the assault tanks ghost division. They were an elite team during Hitler's reign and were a fearsome force. Nobody knew where they are on the battlefield. Not even Hitler himself.

    "Best soliders" You can not gegeralise all soliders, i see your a nazi, we all know what your numbers mean but beside that, some german forces were very good and experienced and some were totaly ineffective and that goes to all in ww2.

    @Bognostrokulum Here's another one:
    A group of three WWII veterans (one american, one british and one russian) are all visiting France for a week to catch up on things from their service days and they're trying to check into a French hotel. None of them being able to speak French the manager at the desk scoffs them and says: "You stupid english speakers how do you call yourselves humans?" "The american soldier looks at his freinds and says: "Hey if it wasn't for us you'd be speaking german!"

  • @MsgtRowan420497
    @MsgtRowan420497 13 лет назад

    The 7th Panzer Division moved with great speed through France and covered vast distances. During the Battle of France, the 7th Panzer Division earned the name of the Ghost Divison because its rapid movements lead to few knowing exactly where the Division was, including the German High Command. Rommel had a "lead from the front" attitude and often commanded from the turret of a tank, thus becoming a mere company commander, rather than a division commander issuing orders from his headquarters.

    Hello metalheads, emo's, goths, scene, punks.
    Instead of a Metal rebellion i propose a new plan.
    1. Don't bash other metal artists, we must unite! We cant fight against pop music if we arent even together
    2. Watch more and more metal videos to get it to the top of the youtube vid list
    If you like this idea, thumbs it up JUST so people can see it, and also spread it around if you like this idea
    Copy this text in every Metalvideo you watch and we´re getting the power

    @Tarishan inventions sure, they had some pretty neat kit. But again i dont think their solders were as good as the us ones... (Im british btw) I think when it cam down to it, the germans relied heavily on orders from officers where as the US troops and British troops were able to act on their own initiative and still come out top. Maybe thats wrong, but meh.

    @TheBeehonker Very well said, Rommel was one of the few fine examples of German officers who were professional, Loved their Country, not the ideals that were forced on the country, and showing the world that the True original German heritage that came before them did not die out with the rise and fall of the nazis. -just my opinon on the matter.

  • @MetallicAddict15
    @MetallicAddict15 14 лет назад

    @dethpig420 Actually, without the help of the Soviet Union Europe might still be speaking German today. It's only when Hitler started fighting the war on two fronts that Nazi Germany took on more than it could handle. Did you know that of the 60 to 80 million casualties in WWII approximately 24 million were Russian soldiers?

    U instead of You, twice. And Ur, proper spelling makes it more believable that the person who wrote it cared and put time into writing it and making sure he/she was correct. Making spelling mistakes, typos or just using shorten versions of words (U, Ur for example) does make one look less intelligent, which is quite annoying if you have problems with spelling (dyslexia) cuase everyone thinks you're a moron. And I don't want no one thinking that anyone is a moron :(

    In a way you're right.
    Each country has its on unique combination
    of tribal elements which create, for want of a
    better word, a unique 'race'.
    Proto-Greeks for example who were carriers
    of the Greek language were northerners, of
    balto-teutonic stock, who migrated into Greece
    and mixed with the indigenous Aegean people
    the Pelasgians, the Minoans and the Neolithic
    peoples who migrated into Europe from the
    Fertile crescent. This unique combination
    created the Greek 'race' of today.

  • @HaggisMacfee-JapanHouse
    @HaggisMacfee-JapanHouse 11 лет назад

    Actually the proto-Greeks (Dorians and Myceneans)
    came from the north and are no believed to belong
    to the Seima-Turbino culture whose homeland
    was east of the Baltic sea in the forests
    of the northern Russian steppes. They were the
    proto-Greek speakers who migrated into the Greek peninsula
    where they mixed with the indigenous Aegean and
    neolithic peoples of Greece, Minoans, Pelasgians etc.
    Ionian Greeks were technicaly Pelasgians.
    {See, 'The Baltic Origins of Homers mythic tales'}

    Patton even wanted President Truman to give Eisenhower the order to re-arm the Wehrmacht and send them back to the Soviet Union together witht th US-army and the Royal army. But he ignored the fact that both, German soldiers and civilians were fed up with that war AND I also don't think that neither western Allies, nor Germans would have really liked to work together though they've shot each other the day before

  • @SkeezyDeez

    Unfortunately he severely lacked strategic prowess, leading a Division was, quite frankly, the highest role he was suited for. his successes in the desert were mostly due to Allied ineptitude, not Axis superiority, this showed when he faced a half baked General, one B. Monty, who whooped his ass back to Tripoli in the Desert and owned his theorems in Normandy.
    Saying that Patton though he was good is no real accolade, Patton was decidedly average.

    Germans lost Battle of Kursk because russians had 3000 tanks, germans had 1000, and russians had already been fortifying their lines for weeks, cos hitler wanted to have new panther tanks to the battle. 100 000 mines were palced by russians, and if you know the result of battle of britain, germans hadn't got almost any planes, russians had a lot. But in casualties, russians lost much more men and tanks than germans. learn it, before shouting it loud.

    Rommel was a revolutionary general, and was respected by Patton and also the British, people still study his tactics to this day. If you wish to remain ignorant than do so, but do not hate something merely because it points out the tactical prowess of a man you dislike.
    "Those who do not Learn from the past, are doomed to repeat it."
    Rommel did not believe in the Nazi goals, he was but a mere man Fighting for his country, can you fault him for that..would you do any less for you own country.

    @bjhellstream Wow, they make one song admiring a German general as what he was: a military genius and some shitheads are complaining why they didn't show him as bloodthirsty hardcore-Nazi (for the record: Rommel was a career General not a Political one. He was NEVER a member of the Nazi party). They've also written songs about D-Day, the Battle of Britain, the Battle of Berlin, Stalingrad, Polish soldiers fighting outnumbered by 40:1 against Germans. So don't come with Nazi-glorification!

    I have a blank channel on you-tube and no friends? What? What does that have to do with anything. You-Tube channel determines how smart you are?I have read both Mein Kampf and The Communist Manifesto. So what?
    I never denied Hitler being a criminal or loosing Germany the war. But he was a great political and a leader.

    @IvanBeSerious U have 5 books and got an A+? I hope ur joking? Because 5 books is next to nothing in terms of knowledge. In fact it sounds like you just made that up on the spot.
    As far as my information, i get it from dozens of books, and hundreds of articles written on certain battles and political movements.
    And yes, i have seen a Neo-Nazi meeting, along with a Communist one. Both are nothing like their originals.

    @ocdelta Many people just accept others opinions, not doing research. If it said so on the main new on TV they watch, it must be so. I prefer the old way, looking things up to come to an educated decision. My TV is hardly ever on and when it is it's for on demand things and when my children and friends are stuck in due to the weather and they and I are to tired to do art/crafts and games or reading together. The odd film and to see where the disinfo is going to look things up is all.

    @Miiitja Yugoslavia was also a strategic reason because it was suspected the English were meddling in their affairs. Russia? Well, Russia was planning on invading Germany anyways and many of their troops were caught in movement when the Blitzkrieg into Russia began (one of the reasons Germany did so well to begin with). If Germany didn't invade Russia when they did, then Russia probably would have taken all of Europe. People should be thanking the Germans for invading Russia first.

  • @LokiusMaximus
    @LokiusMaximus 13 лет назад

    @Miiitja You must remember that the French declared war on Germany with the English. Since the Maginot line was pretty much impenetrable, the Germans went through Belgium and the Netherlands to get around the line and quickly conquer France. Worked quite well. Denmark was taken for strategic reasons. Norway was also taken for strategic reasons. Funny thing is. The English also had plans of taking Norway, but Germany beat them to the punch.

  • @LokiusMaximus

    @Miiitja Where have you learned your history. I have an idea. Get a map of 1914 and look at Germany at the start of WWI. Then look up where the location of Danzig is.
    Why did the Germans invade those other places? Well, for one, you need to again relearn your history because Germany didn't invade Romania. Romania was allied with the Germans for most of the war and therefore never invaded.
    As for the other nations, why wouldn't they invade them?

    @JoeRingo118 Also the reason we Did drop the bomb is because of the fact that the casualties were to get high, calculated the resent battles they had with them on the islands, It would have been bad for both sides. And , not to mention only a few would nuke USA. North korea included. Also the Cold war wasn't until around the 1950's-1970's This "Cold war" wasn't casualty related it was who built the best bomb, and not only that USA to supply starving Russain civys which russia hated.

  • @disiscoke
    @disiscoke 13 лет назад

    @JoeRingo118 WWII is the reason Germany doesn't have a single atom bomb let alone a military force. USA made germany(along with other countrys) to sign a paper stating that their military force can't be over a certain limit. If they made a restriction on military what makes you think they will have nukular warfare? Also The only person USA ever Atom bombed was Japan because of the calculations of the casulaties made by officails. America didn't even want to drop the atomic bomb but they did.

  • @disiscoke
    @disiscoke 13 лет назад

    @JoeRingo118 The cold war came after WWII, and correction USA never used a nuke on anyone, we used a atomic bomb, and Germany Never had a nuke or atomic bombs. in WWII the Nukular bombs werent inventend until around the cold war. Also to prove you are wrong on your very statement, Albert Einstein Invented the first Atomic bomb for USA no other country he orginated from germany which wanted him to make a atomic bomb which he never did. The reason Germany doesn't have a single nuke or Atom bomb.

  • @disiscoke
    @disiscoke 13 лет назад

    @JoeRingo118 Look at it this way, Someone would be more glad to have won a war, they to have lost it... And lets say for a moment that Someone who attacks another person, wins against the defendant, but over time the defendant pushes the pursuer back and turns the battle and begins to win, and if you think of it, they (pursuer) could retreat from the country, and nuke the defendant just so they can win... Not only that if the defendant has nothing, within about 5 years the pursuer can take over.

    @14darx88 False. This is in fact Nazi propaganda. Tiger was an OK for 1943 but by the time IS series tanks hit the field it wasnt looking good for them. Not to mention the logistic nightmare all german tanks were. Did I mention the germans failed to get a proper diesel engine and were stuck with Fritz-cooker gasoline ones? Or the fact they couldnt make decent steel by the end of war?

  • @Perturab0o
    @Perturab0o 13 лет назад

    @14darx88 I think thats why the German tanks were moving with 30 - 40 kmh and their engines stopped working when the temperature was below 0 degrees.They based on HEAVY fukcing tanks, with SO GOD DARN MUCH metal in it,which maked them very heavy and, in some cases, useless.T - 34 was very light,and could outmaneuver almost every German tank.About the strategies and training i agree,though.Germans were sending true soldiers on the battlefield.Not speaking a word about the Americans cuz they suck.

  • @uberarek
    @uberarek 13 лет назад

    @14darx88
    Thats just partly true. Shermans and T-34s could and did destroyed lot of Tigers, though only from side/rear or from VERY close distance. They usualy outnumbered them 1 to 5 and lost 4 in the process until the last get into position to destroy it. What matters is that germans produced rougly 1.5k tigers in the war, but russians poped out more in a single month. Only latewar IS-1 and Pershing were on par with tiges, only IS-2 was better
    BTW: Königstiger is the prettiest tank of war

    I don't think we have to dwell on the anti - Nazi elements of Sabaton - most people are anti -Nazi anyway , however I do have great admiration for the abilities of the german panzer corps during the second world war - regardless of their motivations the Waffen SS panzer corps were one of the most effective fighting forces in history - and proved it time and time again - particularly when they were being forced out of Russia after the Battle of Kursk - the Waffen SS held the line despite...

    @stefundertaker222 The word "occupation" could mean some activity that you practice. It also has a military meaning, like an agressor occupying a foreign country. And since the main character was a German veteran who has already participated in tthe German occupation of France, when asked "occupationn" , he assumed that the french guy asked him if he has plans to occupy France once more and the German veteran was quick to calm him down, telling him that this time he was just visiting :-)

    @4JRimmer This song is about the 7th Panzer Division under the Command of Erwin Rommel during the blitz, not the 21st which was part of the DAK, which was under the command of Rommel as well. The 7th was named the "Ghost Division" because they moved so fast that no one in the German High Command knew exactly where they were. Rommel was a great general, and commanded some of the best units in the Heer.

    There are people here in Germany calling the Greeks lazy and unwilling to work, but I know that this isn't right. I several greek friends and have been to Greece. Well okay, we germans work harder and longer in the jobs we've got, but the greeks often work in severeal jobs. So I think there ist really no problem in helping you out of this economicl crisis, because your are our EU-brothers. And give a shit of those german politicians who want you out of the Schengen-Contract...

    Yes of course we haven't payed the atrocities of WW2, but we we alway helped our european and non-european brothers in the after-war-time. Germany gave the most money to the helping- and rescue-actions of the EU. And this is what makes me so angry, if somebody says that it is OUR fault. Of course WW2 was Germany's fault, but not mine and not the fault of any German living today. The fact is that we payed enough, even if it is not directly for the atrocities....
