Great video. I had the same issue with the trails being very hectic. I ran the Mozart light, slightly faster than the average runners in light, half marathon and marathon. As a result I ran in a big pack of slower runners from both the half marathon and the marathon exactly in those sections with narrow trails. Even had to walk on downhills where I could have run! The trails were very nice but the the starting times of all those distances were too close to each other.

The Salzburg weather looks like it will be cool and wet, which I would far prefer to the heat we experienced the last two years. Wear shoes with good grip and have fun! :)

There seems to be a fair bit of road, could you do it in road shoes?

The event rules require trail shoes. Only about 25% are on hard surfaces, so if there is wet weather road shoes could be a problem.

I would love to! But I have to let my body actively recover from the Innsbruck 65kmfor a week or two before starting the next buuld up :)

@@satiricalrunner Of course! Take your time. Maybe next year. It will be my first 100km race. I did the 62km ultra in 2019. Did only one or the other trail race in autumn ever since.
