First off, thank you for this. I actually resorted to leaving a comment with the timestamp on the 90 degree kick drum video, now I can just come here! Okay, bit of a medium story here... I found Wintergatan because of the marble machine as did many others. I was hooked pretty instantly. I found their album, and then Starmachine 2000, which became my second favorite song ever. A few months later, it was tied for first, and now it is undeniably in first place. I subscribed to Wintergatan. Then one day they uploaded the 90 degree kick drum video and I heard this wonderfully amazing song. I replayed several times. Then, I took a closer look and realized something: You don't need fancy equipment to make music. He's got a few instruments, a microphone, a camera, and a video editing program. I thought to myself "Hey! I've got an out of tune piano, a synth from the 90's, a typewriter, a camera with a bad microphone and Windows Movie Maker. I can actually do this!" and I genuinely believed I could write a song and actually have it sound good. So, I began to record my first song. I stopped 10% of the way through because it sounded abysmally terrible. I would later learn that there are these things called "chords" and stuff that made music sound good. I kept tapping away at the piano, teaching myself, and eventually came up with a decent musical idea. I acted on that, turning it into a love song, and it didn't sound half bad (for being my second ever attempt at recording a song). Later I recorded a short 1 minute song that almost sounded good, and redid the second song so it sounded even better. Unfortunately I couldn't sing high enough to do the lyrics, but IMO it sounds alright without them. And then I had many more ideas. I could make an album. Unfortunately, I don't have the time, but if I had a few weeks of no school and no nothing else, I would. I genuinely would. And soon, I plan to. The point: This was the song that made me realize I could actually make music. Thanks for uploading it here. Also, 329 is one of my favorite numbers, and guess how long this video is? Just another coincidence in this wonderful life of ours!

If ever we needed something to prove Martin is a musical genius who is overflowing with talent and skill, this video is it. 3 years later and I still think it's his best piece yet!
3 things -It’s so cool that he can play all those instruments well -this song is a bop -it’s so cool that he can go outside and see so many stars bc where I live I can count the visible stars on 2 hands
I would like to remove what I said about you going to the moon, you can't go, and that's an statement, you are too valuable to loose you my friend. So, that's said, you are not going! You have to build first more of this wonders for humanity before we can take the risk to loose you. Sorry. Excellent job Martin, you are amazing, and the rest of the team... what a combination! Congratulations to all!

Put in a request on the Wintergatan YT-channel, (this is a fan made channel.) or another official Wintergatan media. Right now though, they are busy building the next marble maghine...

He said himself that he was pretty terrible at music when he first started. He's only this good because of practice and determination.

What's that percussion instrument with the lovely harpsichord sound ? A dulcimer ? (on the lower-left at the start of the video).
