Proof in the Quran: Chapter (6) sūrat l-anʿām (The Cattle) Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects - you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only [left] to Allah ; then He will inform them about what they used to do.
I don’t think any one of us chose to be divided, the whole issue of shia/sunnah is heavily influenced by politics originating from way back to the Prophets death. Furthermore, Shia shouldn’t be classified as this “different” sector, we believe in the same 5 main pillars of Islam just like you. If I were to boil it down for you to understand, Shia take most of their teachings from the family of the prophet while sunni people take most of their teachings from the sahaba (both have slightly different narations of the prohpets teachings) hence the so called “divide”. BUT that does not mean sunni’s dislike the family of Muhammad or that we dislike the Sahaba. Gosh if people stopped running would this harmful narrative, the world would be a better place.

From what I learnt in school ya'll dont recognize the first three caliphs of the prophet Abubakar,Umar and uthman as worthy of taking the leadership of islam after the prophets death. I also learnt that the shia sect have this belief that their imams are infallible meaning that they are not capable of committing any type of sin and that they follow what their imam says without any contradiction. Apart from that they have their own collection of hadiths and don't recognize the sahihu sitta (The 6 authentic collection of hadith) By the likes of Imam Bukhari,Muslim etc.
Prophets and any commander chosen by God is infallible otherwise there is contradiction in religion. Is there any hadith that says what you're saying because if it clearly was shirk Prophet ﷺ would have warned us against it strictly but we don't see that ?? Sahaba did sought help from many ?? When somebody does shirk and call entities other than Allah for help which is against islam most important belief. when Allah says Quran is preserved and shia says no,which means they are saying Allah is lying astaghfirullah. When Allah says prophet’s wives are mothers of the faithful people and there is dedicated Ayahs for them praising them all and the shia are cursing them with the worst words ever. When Allah praised the sahaba and said that he is pleased with them and he promised them jannah,and shia are cursing them and trying their best to degrade them. When islam says no for lying and then shia says lying/taqiyyah is good. Doing everything against islam and what Allah says this definitely makes somebody a non-muslim
I agree, Islam shouldn't be divided into sects but should be practiced the same way the prophet (pbuh) practiced it. Nothing new should be added to it because it was already perfected at the time of the Prophet. Our azaan should also be the same one as the one from the time of the Prophet, maatam (beating one's self) should not be done because it is not something the Prophet did or something that the Quran tells you to do

In fact, we already use it to greet each other when we say "Assalamu Alikum", "May peace be upon you", even though we are NOT prophets. I'd also like to include that, ALLAH (swt), told us "ولا تفرقوا", "and do not break into groups", so the fact that someone is calling themselves other than a Muslim , the name that GOD chose to us, makes it clear that something is wrong with their sharia and aqeeda

I don’t think any one of us chose to be divided, the whole issue of shia/sunnah is heavily influenced by politics originating from way back to the Prophets death. Furthermore, Shia shouldn’t be classified as this “different” sector, we believe in the same 5 main pillars of Islam just like you. If I were to boil it down for you to understand, Shia take most of their teachings from the family of the prophet while sunni people take most of their teachings from the sahaba (both have slightly different narations of the prohpets teachings) hence the so called “divide”. BUT that does not mean sunni’s dislike the family of Muhammad or that we dislike the Sahaba. Gosh if people stopped running would this harmful narrative, the world would be a better place.

From what I learnt in school ya'll dont recognize the first three caliphs of the prophet Abubakar,Umar and uthman as worthy of taking the leadership of islam after the prophets death. I also learnt that the shia sect have this belief that their imams are infallible meaning that they are not capable of committing any type of sin and that they follow what their imam says without any contradiction. Apart from that they have their own collection of hadiths and don't recognize the sahihu sitta (The 6 authentic collection of hadith) By the likes of Imam Bukhari,Muslim etc.
Prophets and any commander chosen by God is infallible otherwise there is contradiction in religion. Are you saying Islam has contradictions or are you saying the last prophet and his progeny aren’t infallible and that he’s just like us humans? This alone removes the first 3 caliphs as being so, since they lead majority of their lives as jahil and whom did not have distinguished parents and of course who can forget.. God never picked them!!!!

Also there's literally a hadith which says that the shirk which prophet ﷺ feared for this Ummah was minor shirk (WHICH DOESN'T TAKE MUSLIM OUT OF FOLD OF ISLAM) and that's the showing off of one's worship and same hadith says that Prophet ﷺ Ummah won't worship stones, idols, sun etc ( just explained hadith context not the exact wording). When somebody does shirk and call entities other than Allah for help which is against islam most important belief. when Allah says Quran is preserved and shia says no,which means they are saying Allah is lying astaghfirullah. When Allah says prophet’s wives are mothers of the faithful people and there is dedicated Ayahs for them praising them all and the shia are cursing them with the worst words ever. When Allah praised the sahaba and said that he is pleased with them and he promised them jannah,and shia are cursing them and trying their best to degrade them. When islam says no for lying and then shia says lying/taqiyyah is good. Doing everything against islam and what Allah says this definitely makes somebody a non-muslim
I agree, Islam shouldn't be divided into sects but should be practiced the same way the prophet (pbuh) practiced it. Nothing new should be added to it because it was already perfected at the time of the Prophet. Our azaan should also be the same one as the one from the time of the Prophet, maatam (beating one's self) should not be done because it is not something the Prophet did or something that the Quran tells you to do

There are many ahadith on the virtues and status of Aisha and Abu Bakr (may be Allah be pleased with them both) , and Abu Bakr is also mentioned in the Quran (although not by name explicitly) , yet, I guess the shias know better right 🤦

I would like to clarify that Alahisalam (AS) is not only for prophets. The Arabic words translate to "may peace be upon him". There is no proof that it is only said for prophets and can be said to anyone. In fact, we already use it to greet each other when we say "Assalamu Alikum", "May peace be upon you", even though we are NOT prophets.
I'd also like to include that, ALLAH (swt), told us "ولا تفرقوا", "and do not break into groups", so the fact that someone is calling themselves other than a Muslim , the name that GOD chose to us, makes it clear that something is wrong with their sharia and aqeeda

By not dividing into sects, I think Allah just meant he didn’t want us to separate from each other, he wants the ummah to feel whole. We can still have different interpretations of Islam, but we need to stay together as one Ummah as Allah SWT has told us♥️

Some Shia call upon Ali r.a. (a companion of the prophet Muhammed SAW) to ask for things that will benefit them though he is dead. The beliefs stemmed from this can be shirk…
If you invoke (or call upon) them, they hear not your call; and if (in case) they were to hear, they could not grant it (your request) to you [Faatir 35:13-14]

2. They’re saying that ‘Aisha(ra) did Zina, even when ALLAH(swt) say’s in the Qur‘an that this isn’t true and they even made hole Holiday’s (aswell at ‘Ashura for example) of cursing ‘Aisha(ra) and many of the Sahaba
3. They rejecting most from the Sunnah and changing AHadith and some even rejecting Parts of the Qur‘an or adding parts…
