Why aren't more people editing The Handmaid's Tale? It's been so long since I've liked a show this much the characters, the writing, the cinematography. I tried looking for edits of the show but only found a small few so wanted to make my own.
I'm also expecting to get dislikes on this because (I think) most people dislike Serena. Which I totally get and of course hate things she has done but she is so complex and Yvonne does such a good job at portraying her that it's sort of hard for me to not enjoy her character.

she's done so much harm but so much harm has been done to her-- i know a lot of people hate her, but there's something just so monumentally sad about serena and what she's been through that she's just become one of the characters i root for a little bit. the world she helped build wasn't the world she really wanted and she has to live with her mistakes. every time she takes a step forward she ends up falling back, and she's stuck between these parallels of being a person who just wants a good life and being a monster who ruined the lives of countless people.
I'm one of the people who kind of likes Serena despite all the horrible things she's done and I definitely get the feeling that most people hate her but I really loved this video. I loved watching Serena videos and I honestly don't know what I want her ending to be in this show. I obviously don't want her to get off with zero consequences but I also don't want to see her punished to the same extent as the Commanders. Great video and I like the song you chose with it!
Serena definitely is my favourite character in the show. So few people understand her while I could feel all the complexity and pain inside her. A shame that there’s not enough videos about THT indeed!

I just hate her. It's true she is pitiful, but some things are unforgivable....
This is absolutely incredible and beautiful! The Serena segments are the only ones I enjoy in this show anymore. She's a perfect example of someone who thinks, "I didn't think the tiger would eat MY face off!"

Yvonne turned out to be the best thing about this Elizabeth Moss Vanity Project that turned into a trainwreck. She was always watchable.

I was SO MAD when she turned out to not be redeemable. I was really convinced there was some good in her, that she would turn it around. But that's just it. She's a true sociopath. She lures you in, just as June said, but at the end of the day, it's always her motives and satisfaction at play. All of Gilead was part of her motivation to get what she wanted. All of her supposed "softening" was sociopathic. Scary to think of her raising a child.
@aloroha hi!! so this is might seem SO out of nowhere but i've been watching your videos forever and I've been a huge fan! i think ur so talented and really know how to pair scenes to music so well! you posted a merlin video a few years back set to the song "world on fire" by les friction and it's my absolute favorite of all time but unfortunately I think its been removed :( i've been looking for it everywhere for ages and can't find it it seems. would u ever be able to repost it?
J B Ahh thank you so much! And yes sadly that video got removed. It seems to happen a lot with Merlin videos. I would re upload but a couple years ago I lost the hard drive that it was on :(
