Just discovered this. I love plants . The squirrels keep making a hole in the mesh and coming in to feast on my plants, turn over my table, and pee on my chair. While I think squirrels are cute, they need to leave my plants alone. I say they, but I think it is the same squirrel coming in since he was a baby. ,,,,,sooooo cutee. But I will not be a pushover. I will give this a try.

I love squirrels too, they are cute, but they uprooted my potted geraniums, I was so mad. So now I have a Calamansi (Calamondin) it’s a citrus plant, in a pot which I placed outside for the late summer/ fall sunlight. And the squirrels 🐿️ started messing with it too. So I had to put them back inside.
@@Aurora-zy6lq I totally hear you! I get annoyed when they🐿 mess with my plants but I can't stop loving them! Have you tried the foil strategy? I know it doesn't look pretty but it worked for me for squirrels😊 (Didn't work for raccoons🦝😅).

We have little chipmunks everywhere here in the desert but last week we actually had a real squirrel in our yard My husband took a picture of him stealing our cats food. Don't know what kind but he was gray in color and about the size of yours. I hope he sticks around. Love your videos TFS

It is hilarious all the things we do like wrapping chicken wire or foil around out pots just to keep squirrels away😂😂 I hate them but love them at the same time. This is my biggest challenge!

What a Great Idea! And I just love squirrels...my mother says that she detests them, for they always seem to uproot her plants. But Man!- they are too damn cute lol. We have mostly Black Squirrels where I live in Southern Ont Canada. And besides the many blacks, I get the odd Grey Squirrel in my back yard. - I'm also happy to say that we have alot more chipmunks this spring than last year!(even though I already found a dead adult while mowing; I believe it's the damn cats {but sadly- that's their job as well.})Thanks so much for your adorable vid.👍😉🇨🇦

Omg I few months ago. The squirrels would make holes in my trash can tops. I put silver duck tape on my trash can tops and they stopped. Thank you for this video. I should have thought about the foil.
If you are frustrated with squirrels, keep in mind they help plant trees in nature which helps us continue to have oxygen to breathe. I have an oak growing in my backyard that I decided to let grow as I need some shade. While I'm sitting back and watching it grow, it's amazing to know that little squirrel bouncing around digging in my pots planted that. Here I am running around, researching how to grow trees and this guys just pops one out like its nothing.
Thats exactly how my potted plants look. And they have killed them all because they up root them so much that the plant doesn’t stand a chance. Ugh……they drive me nuts! I have a whole yard for them. Why do they love the flowers? 😢

You are absolutely right. They will do more and more damage in your property that way.
And they know you also, she can't stop feeding them, no foil in the world will save the plants 😂

私はクルミを落ち葉や草を被せて隠します。最初は鳥たちに取られるので、やってたのですが、これがエゾリスにも好評でした。
宝探しや横取りの要素が含まれてますので、大喜びで、私の隠したクルミを探し出して、他の場所に埋めます。リスのハツラツとした動きは見てて分かります。
