I'm shocked you didn't mention Grievous's Legends duel with Mace Windu. From the account I read in Labyrinth Of Evil, Windu was shocked at how the cybernetics in Grievous allowed him to quickly learn and duplicate Vappad. The only reason why Mace was able to win the duel was because he was able to take advantage of a momentary disconnect between Grievous's organic and cybernetic components.
General Grievous was sadly manipulated and fed lies by Count Dooku which is just so evil and sad. He blamed it on the Jedi which is even worse which led Grievous's hatred.
Yeah you really have to feel bad for Grievous,he was totally manipulated by the Sith. He was actually one of the biggest victims of the Clone Wars and never knew it He had legitimate reason to hate the Jedi as they were why his people ended up as they did after the conflict with the Huk
The Huk basically gaslit Grievous's people to the Republic, claiming that they were the aggressors and not the Huk. So why did the Republic help the Huk? The Huk controlled valuable hyperspace lanes, that's why.
If you go by Legends, after the war with the Huk, Grievous's people were subjected to the Star Wars version of the Treaty Of Versailles and one of the consequences of it was that the Kaleesh were badly impoverished. The IG Banking Clan were aware of Grievous's reputation as a fearsome warrior and offered him a deal: Become our enforcer and we'll assume your people's debt plus revive your economy. Grievous took the offer, but hated it aa he felt being the leg breaker for the IG Banking Clan was beneath him. It was his work for the IG Banking Clan that brought him to the attention of Sidious and Dooku. Grievous had actually wanted to quit at the time of his accident, so part of why it was done was to ensure his loyalty to the Clan
I don’t like the legends version. I feel Grievous had more than enough reason to hate the Jedi from their own actions. The sith adding to that through manipulation and altering his mind undermines a really good and tragic story.
@rossmccabe3667 aside from his shitty cybernetics mace windu basically fucked him up long story short. Watch the clone wars, it's not my job to keep you caught up with the Kardashians
Grievous has always been my favourite character in Star Wars, my second favorite is Darth Maul, he is so awesomely psychopathy, i think they diminish him greatly how they let Palpatine just come in and kill them brothers with one hand swoop...
I want a star wars story of general Grievous and his people the kaleesh they are so freaking cool looking!!!

@@CapybaraaaaStudiosyeah he was definitely in a relationship thought before his girlfriend death, he was much happier.
@@LowBrandon And Dooku did tamper with his mind making him a lot angrier
@@CapybaraaaaStudios yup and that is how he ended up becoming a menace and psychopath. I felt really sorry for him.
