You should! It's a great outdoor experience. And it's nice to unplug once in a while. If you try this or any like it, come back and let us know how it went! 😊
Hi, Is it private? When you sit outdoors other campers can see and hear you? Is there a grill? (Now they are selling classic cabin and another double price that comes with outdoor suite) just need a classic and grill. How's the bugs situation in winter? Do you need a car or can commute ? If you have a car anything to do or see around? Thanks
Great questions! It’s decently private. If you’re looking for other people you’ll find/see them. You might see their cabins and people from a distance depending on how your outdoor area is angled. They try to have the cabin windows point away from other cabins so that’s private. We actually went early spring so there wasn’t much greenery or leaves on the trees. I can imagine in full spring/summer or early fall it will feel more private. Or even winter when everything is covered in snow. I don’t recall hearing people around us and it gets very quiet. We played music while outdoors at the grill. We didn’t hear music/voices from other cabins. There’s a fire pit with grills. I’d consider it an open grill. It’s not as easy to grill but it works for simple meals. I’m not sure about the new outdoor suites but we felt like we had everything for an enjoyable experience outside. They have additional fire wood available. We brought 3 bundles of our own which we burned through quickly. And purchase two of theirs. We went in early spring and didn’t have an issue with bugs insects, ants, mosquitoes - insect free experience. To get there you’ll most likely need a car. While there you won’t unless you want to do things in the area like see other hiking areas. I think some water falls. Otherwise, there’s not much to do. Maybe make a trip to the store for wine. Hope this helps!
Hi! Great video! My husband and I stayed in a classic cabin last year and really enjoyed it. Is the counter in the accessible cabin super short? I couldn't really tell...thanks.
The cabins aren’t super low or short. They’re pretty standard height. You wouldn’t hurt your back bending over and wouldn’t have any trouble reaching under or over for anything if for example someone was on a wheelchair. Hope this helps!
