- A look at the Kenworth K200 cab over interior. Their are some variations to these. Some with single beds with different storage. It depends on how they are ordered when new. Will do the exterior soon.

Great video and a even more great truck. I really love the K200. Keep uploading houd great video's please.
Hi Jan: will be doing more video's. Thank you.
Thanks for the detailed video..I always loved the 108's.But so many other drivers out there have a cry about the "hump" .having said that, i recently i fell in love with the K2's..Im jealous as all hell you get to drive them. Drive safe driver.
Hi John. Drove a 104 for five years. Don't think I could go back to the old KW'S. Spoiled now.
Australian Trucker Rod my dad drives a k200 for ag spread it’s got the single bed in it
Black ice does smell great. Hello from Boston, Massachusetts USA.
Hi Ron . My wife's favorite. Thank you for watching. Have a great day.
Good video as always Rod, I just got my HR licence so I am on a truck binge session whilst I get me updated Resume together for a transfer to Chullora Transport with Post :) Bloody awesome space on the bed for a big bloke like me at 6'2 130kg always loved the k200's
Cheers look forward to the next installment.
tommy: congrats buddy. Bigger and better things to come. Good luck with the transfer.
Nice little home on wheels Rod. Good head room and nice spacious looking bed space so you can stretch out for a kip :-)
Hi John: Lot better than the older Kenworth K104 that I drove for 4 years.
Where are you rod been so long.😢you have the best interstate documentary ❤
KW is best in class. We call it king of the road here in state 🇺🇸
Nice video mate well done
Thanks buddy.
I'm guessing they still have length rules in certain parts of Oz. Otherwise I can't imagine why people would choose a cab-over unless they are constantly in/out of tight urban areas with hard to get at loading docks, and then you'd want a much smaller/shorter tractor(day cab) than this anyways.
Still this thing is MUCH nicer than the old cabover trucks from the 80's/early 90's in the US. No huge doghouse taking all the room up. Still not as much room in the cab as some of the bigger conventional sleeper trucks here in the US though.
Hi Aaron. Yes the length restrictions is the problem. Companies want longer trailers not more room for the driver. Bigger beds in the kw than the European trucks, that most big companies are going for now.
Have a great day.
Nice video, mate!
Thank you.
Nice Video 😊
Very nice!
Great Video As Usual Mate, Keep Up The Great Work...
Hey Cory. Have a great day buddy.
Id live in that all my life....
Nice home away from home.
Hey Torsee: They are good, don't think I could go back to a small truck
Nice video do you get much sleep on Linehaul runs , if you get punctures in tyres does anyone help you or you have to do it alone wouldn’t be much fun .
Hi Ivan. normally over 12 hours before each run. Don't have to load or unload, just drop trailers 99% of the time. We call and get tyre fitter out if we get a puncture. But I have changed many tyres over the years without help.
Thx for the video
Hey Karma. Will do more on the outside soon. Have a good day
do you leave the engine on when you sleep? just to keep the aircon going
I really wish they would bring these back to the States. 🇺🇸
Hi Chad. Not sure if many would like the smaller sleeper. But definitely easier to back into tight places.
I hope we never go to cab overs again or the European style trucks. I'll stay with the W9.
I don’t
I'm glad Kenworth have finally gotten a flat floor and curtains to go right around the windows, now they just need to get rid of the press stud interior
It's to hard to clean
Where can you get that steering wheel from? ...looks the goods
Hi Rod: Not sure where the wheel came from, will let you know when I find out.
what happens when your in the middle of say NT or WA and its over 45 degrees and you need to stop and sleep can you run the A/C system with out the engine going? Sorry i add the question, but you answered it, lol :) Love to be a truck driver, my first inside view was in a Kenworth at Arnott's biscuits in port melbourne, would have been around 8 years old, loved them its like a home away from home really, except your working?
Yes. They run off a single cylinder diesel engine. As long as you have fuel, also keeps the batteries changed and can have it on stand by, auto start if the batteries run low on the truck.
How is the ride in that k200? Is it rough like the old school Cabovers or is it pretty smooth like the European Cabovers and American long nosed rigs?
Hi James. They have come a long way from the older models, smoother ride and reduced noise. Don't think they will ever be like a European cabover. I have driven a peterbilt 379 a few years ago, that was a better ride than the K200 in my opinion, but it did have a great driver's seat.
Kenwer nosecon para con las otra
Más europeo sotodos pura pintas yplastico com otro marca
Hi rod..love your videos I think that's what I want to do.. just quick question, does it matter going for HR instead of MR straight coz they both needs class C.. thank you in advance
babbu mann: Go for the HR then you can go to MC after 12 months.
Rod Ruskin thanks heaps mate cheers!!
not sure what state you are in but in Queensland the test is the same for MR and HR so go straight to HR
A K200 seems to be a lot taller than other trucks, eg Pete 389 or Kenworth 589. Is that the case? Do you sit taller than those for example? (Not just the height of the truck but does the driver sit higher than other drivers?). Thank you.
Шикарно!!! 100пудовый Лайк!!!
Tnx 4 this
k200 for life
They are much better than the older cabover. But that's just my opinion. Sorry for the late reply.
@@australiantruckerrod1070 its good, either way i love kenworths #kenworth4life
Pretty sure i saw you going north bound on the 21st feb just out of Glenburn
MrBferret: Not me, but could have been one of our other trucks coming out of Dandenong. They are very similar.
Does it come with a free chiropractor subscription?
Nice vídeo Brother
Thank you, Stay safe.
what’s the HP ON THIS ONE ? rod please
Hey. It's supposed to be 620 hp Cummins.
Make it a left side drive and the bigger sleeper and a U.S glider kit I'll take one today lol
Bigger sleeper would be nice. That would be the biggest part of the job, and a large bank balance. Have a company in Australia that converts Peterbilts to R/H drive for $100,000 just for the coversion
Freightliner have 2 Cascadia L/H drive in Australia, doing trials with companies. They will be fazing out the cabover.
@@australiantruckerrod1070 fazing out the cab over why? I wish they would bring them back here in the U.S and trying out freightjunker 🤢 better off getting the w900L with the 86' studio sleeper
Hi. Just Freightliner stopping the cabover the others will stay. European trucks the favorite with large Australian companies. They are giving good deals. All about profit and getting the most freight on the largest trailers, not the driver.
@@australiantruckerrod1070 sounds like here
Me too
Nice truck make the sleeper about 3 foot longer still short wheelbase
That would be good, would not want to go home, just live in the truck. Will put it to the boss he likes to customise trucks, could be the next project.
Have a good day.
I wish we could get those here in the usa. I owned a 1984 k100 flat top for a long time and i screwed up and traded it in and i have kicked myself in the ass ever since.
Kenworth should have kept a cabovers option, would have been good for regional, local work and the drivers that like the cabovers. In the future the Kenworth as we know it, will not be available, they will be going to the European DAF as their cabover.
You will have to import one and convert to L/H drive. Have a great day.
@@australiantruckerrod1070 Guessing the switch to DAF is at least delayed by the K220 now?
is that a 10-speed,13-speed,or 18-speed?
18 speed.
Hi rod the missus wont be happy with the stuff on her seat @ 4.10
Lucky she was not with me that day. Unfortunately we have to put things on the seat when we are both together to get into bed, big cab still not enough room.
hi mate, how much could be cost k200 2017 from a factory?? one fella told me a price can be around $500k
The big cab like I drive. The owner said around $350,000 new. That would depend on the features you wanted.
ill send u a link later after uploading my video which shows a k200 by 500k as he said
regards
Is this a newer truck? Must be a overseas thing.
The K200 has been around for about 9 years. Cabover Kenworths don't change too much.
W
Stands up wakes light realises it was there looks at camera like that was meant to happen
All part of the plan. LOL😎

VENUS HALO Thanks Mate.
Hi Venus Halo is right. Canada has a Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP).These can lead to permanent resident and immigration visa's. This would be a good place to start. A company called AGRI - FRESH is on this program. Online applications. Good Luck.
Australian Trucker Rod thanks brother for sharing information.
Are you talking about this company ???

Ya think ya have enough "stinky trees" hanging?
There are .more luxurious trucks in caada & Europe
