I was also at the Triangle Pen Show and I felt so intimidated by all the vintage pens since I don’t know much about them. I think next year I might really take my time to learn more about them and own one as well. Thank you for sharing.
I was at that show and bought my first vintage pen, a Sheaffer Oversize Balance, circa 1938 from Gerry Berg who wrote an article on plunger pens. He restored the pen and sent it to me a week after the show. I love that Danitrio. Lovely.
I was there as well. Don't know if you were there for more than one day, but they had a fantastic speaking panel on Friday night about getting started with vintage pens. They answered questions like why should I get one, what to look for, what to avoid, maintenance tips, and finally some suggested pens to buy. Can't say enough good things about it, and if you go to another pen show, they said they try to repeat it at all shows. And will definitely repeat it next year in Raleigh. BEAUTIFUL Danitrio - I somehow missed that table!
How lucky are you the pen show was so close to your house! Those two pens seem like they were meant for you to discover them and their colorways are gorgeous. I love how you got into the history of the pens. I'm wanting to get a vintage pen but it is a little intimidating.
I mean how did I not know about this show?? I guess because it's smaller than some so don't get as much airplay. But yes. I am intimidated by vintage pens too. But everyone there was so nice and giving with their information. I had a great time!

I was there Friday hanging out with the makers. I’m glad you found some fun pens. Congratulations
Nice pens. That is an unusual Danitrio.
That Parker Parkette is beautiful! You bought some lovely pens!
Thank you! 🤗
Celluloid beauty, that Parker. I went to the Show, too. Nice time. Looking forward to the Raleigh Pelikan Hubs.

I was only there Friday and had to leave around 2. I hate I missed the class.

I started to drive up but I’m already doing three other pen shows this summer. I was wondering if you were going to
