- In this video we discuss the ways in which you can use the Elektron Analog Heat MKII to process multiple audio sources within Ableton Live. You can achieve this using the hardware and the Overbridge plugin together within your digital audio workstation.

Thanks for this man, you’re one of the only people showing chords being processed through the AH and it’s beautiful
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS !!
very informative did not know you could use this device int his way
Great channel man, keep it up!
Thanks, super helpful , well done
would be great to see a tutorial how you made those macros!
Are you able to process different tracks using different character distortions?
that chrono intro ;)
Cool!
Does routing to the heat this way make the audio double? I tried recording this way and it sounded phasey/doubled.
Will the FX save if the analog heat is not connected? As in the next time you open the project in ableton without the heat being turned on
great stuff! any trouble with latency or with audio levels?
So you don't have to plug any audio cable to use it with Ableton ? Just through USB ?
Then can you send the processed signal to a mixer through your soundcard ?
Yes you dont have to plug any audio cable to use it with Ableton Live. Yes just through USB. Yes you can then send the mixed audio out of the Main Outputs of the Analog Heat MKII.
@@ElektronVideoKlub that's amazing! Thank you!
can you please help I'm not seeing the signal come through on the plug on the plug-in or the machine through the in and out I had it connected the same way I just rebooted my computer I mean just open my computer and started to try to start a new project with the same settings And it's just I'm not seeing it the signal go through the in and out If you can understand what I'm saying
is the sound quality different using straight USB in and out as opposed to the 1/4 inch jacks
Great video !! ... did you try AH as a sound card/audio interface ?? I am planning to get a new audio interface and for a all in one product this is awesome... can you use it as a regular audio interface/headphones out for monitoring etc without adding effects (let’s say you want to connect a synth and send the raw audio to the daw ??? ) is it a good quality AInterface??? Has Latency??? Sorry I am new to this product and couldn’t find any recent video comparing AH with any audio interfaces + I read a lot of mix feelings reviews ... thank you 🙏🏼 for sharing ... subscribed
You can use the Analog Heat MKII as a regular audio interface and let signals pass in and out unaffected by the effect. At the same time, you can, via Overbridge, also use the effect to process another set of audio signals.
Elektron Video Klub thank you for your quick response! Is the audio quality standard to any today’s standard ?
@@mauriciomandara5946 The converters on the Analog Heat MKII are 48kHz, 24 bit D/A and A/D.
Can you effect the envolope follower without hearing the drums i.e more than one input
interesting, So you can send the audio to HEAT via USB as well?!
Do you have a video on how to route Anaolog Heat to external hardware synths connected to Ableton via USB with Overbridge. Every example you show is for internal Ablton sound generators like Analog. Not a very real world scenario using an expensive piece of hardware to only process native, soft synths. Thanks!
Does it work now? Did they actually fix the software? I have mk1 and I haven’t use the over bridge because it wasn’t working right last time I check about a year.
Nais.
Be careful with this, i permanently damaged my hearing today using this, the stupid thing had resonance all the way up and fd my hearing. Id 100% warn you before using distotion with a filter. Bit stupid but
Nothing about this device in damaged your hearing.. you just didn't monitor properly..
You need to turn the cans waay down before listening to any adjustment!!
