We spent our summer 24 there with friends, the place is so peacefull and really appropriate to rest and slow living.

I spent many summers there and enjoyed cycling around and takes only 20-30min. by ferry from Zadar. Ugljan is connected by a bridge to another large island, Pasman so it's easy to travel around. Many people from Zagreb have built houses on these islands and come in the summer because it's closer to them than beautiful islands near the city of Split.

We've been to Ugljan once so far and loved our stay. Though the vibrancy of summer months is exciting, my preference is March through June and September through November. July and August can be sweltering hot (which many enjoy), though still beautiful. The atmosphere in the shoulder seasons is so relaxed and the tranquility is breathtaking.
Truly a gorgeous video with good pros and cons considerations. The food looks marvelous, too! Ahhh...life in Croatia is incredible. 😊
    Thank you.

I would absolutely live on a Croatian Island. I imagine it is more expensive but worth it. Great video Dušan!

Try drink salt water, it’s still called water. That’s what the sea is. Rivers are water also, you have fresh water and salt water. I’m confused at your comment.
Water sports, sea water , under water.
      Voda je voda

Ferry prices are 50% cheaper for islanders.
