The only doubt I have is how can I repeat the cook button without having to press U 50 times? (Not that much of a problem for me, but I don’t understand the “left alt” mechanisms)

In the demo version there is no action repeat on "left alt+U"

1st select the cookable item, then if you hold the "ALT" button on le left of your space bar and press "U", the stack will be cooked. It work !
