This is an easy recipe of how to make Gummy Jelly Worms at home. For jelly worms you will need following ingredients: 1 package kiwifruit jelly (90g of green jelly), 30g of unflavored gelatin, 2 cups boiling water. Also you will need about 100 bendable drinking straws, 3 rubber bands (to fix straws together) and a high glass. You can also add 3/4 cup of whipping cream - then your worms will not be transparent.
Mix all food ingredients in a bowl (water, jelly and gelatin). While the mixture is cooling - prepare straws. Unbend a concertina-type hinge near the top, put them all (100) in a "bouquet", fasten them with rubber bands and put into a high glass (bendy parts must be down). Fill all straws with jelly mixture and place in the fridge for an hour. Then just squeeze your gummy worms from straws. Keep worms in a cool place before eating.

You should have placed just enough jelly to cover the bottom of the straws, then place them in the fridge. When you take them out, fill the straws the rest of the way. That way, not as much of the jello escapes

I like the idea due to fact I work with pre school children they love goo. I would think it would be quicker to get jelly mould trays instead squeezing the jelly out the straws. very good fun

Hackster - HacksTricksTips DIY actually thats exactly why im here.im not makeing this for human consumption thats for sure lol.will be adding attractants as appossed to sugar and fruty flavors.disposable,degradible,fish and lake friendly bait.and for the most part seems fairly cheap.i have made some catfish baits that are far more costly and time consuming.

I meant the texture...
It was made using jello mixture... but because she added the extra grams of gelatin, it made the mixture go much firmer when setting, so it's a gummy.
