Alice wakes up one day at home doing her daily business, but suddenly a fairy barged in to attack. As she was about to reply with magic, she found herself uncapable to defend herself.
But suddenly the Shanghai Doll to help its master and destroy the opponent, leaving a weird energy trail behind similar to the dolls Alice make (self-interpretation).
Together they will seek answers to various people to understand what is happening in Gensokyo.
The game has a wide system of equipment taht will cost Spell Points whenever Shaghai equips an item (depending on cases), this in term will decide the type of fighter the Shanghai Doll will become, more of a physical or a magical user depending on the enemy.
