Yeah, Darryl I remember when all class one railroads pulled those road railers and if I’m not mistaken NS was the first railroad to pull them cause I remember if I’m like 1995 on up to 2010 you seen a lot of them running up and down the tracks I know that NS would bring two south every day to New Orleans and go back with two north every day I remember the first one I saw I said look at this and hear about six or eight months ago Snyder, JB, Hunt and swift was talking about road Raylin their trailers but they would’ve had the got all new trailers to do that with because those trailers had a beef up frame on them to keep them from breaking in half as they were going down the tracks but I guess it fell through but anyway another awesome video my friend and as always you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one

And all of my engineer friends said that that was the best riding train that they ever pulled because it didn’t have but one knuckle on it and that’s where it hooked to the engine so there was no slack at all in it and they could run 70 mile an hour with them

I am told the last Triple Crown RoadRailer train left Detroit August 24 headed for Kansas City, MO. It was the last RoadRailer service left in the US ... now history.
