  • After trying to find a windscreen frame for my Locost, with no luck. I though why am I cheating on the last hurdle, after making nearly everything else. So after a little homework I had a go. Here's the results.

I've been racking my brain because i do not want to spend $300 on a frame thats not exactly the way i want. Awesome video. I"ll be making one for my 27 roadster next day.

Great idea, maybe a heavy duty version?? FYI Aluminium like that cools at about 30-50 degrees F per second, so ya might as well just bend it cold.

The Point of heating it is to anneal it so it will bend.

Robert Beck 25mmx 25mm U shaped bar. From ebay. Though wish it I had found slightly smaller. 15mmx 25mm would be better to hold the glass.

+Ecosse57 Hi. I just followed the rough measurements as in the book. so as long as the wheel follows around the corners of the template with a slight gap for the channel to fit in. only difference I would make would not to used a wooden lever again ;-)

thank you. i suppose i should purchase the locost book. frankly i think you did a fine job but perhaps a better quality of wood next time?
