Thanks for the time and effort to record your build. I often forget to record my builds not thinking that they have any real value. Not so - someone will always profit. Thanks Again!
Great job ,I am nearly finished my build that I have been working on for 6 years ,it is very satisfying know that what you have worked on for many year is complete, it is all worth in the end
Just for anyone that may be considering using a small jdm 4 cylinder engine. They don't have to be placed vertical I. The engine bay, they can be layed over to 45 degrees. Maybe even more. It requires a modified oil plan and pickup too. Usually you can rotate the transmission if it has a separate bellhousing or cut and reweld it.
Well the story was intriguing to say the least, you did a great well planned effort , emence patience that I will reward you with... what a project of love... and what a result comrad... keep it and enjoy it....
I had a concept of mounting a Chevrolet Corvair (air cooled 6 cyl) up front into a Super 7, with the trans-axle mounted behind the seats (weight distribution).
You have some mad skills Sir
Vastly better looking than the standard Lotus 7!
Very clever much respect and well done from a U.K. Westfield owner 👍🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
Thanks for the video, I really like the walk thru of some of the problems you encountered and figured out.
That is a really nice build but for me it is very hard to change the original shape of a 7 and get away with it, yours does look really good
Awesome story. Thanks for sharing!
Very Good work😊👍🇸🇪 from Sweden
You are awesome.... wish my Dad would finish my projects for me. Lol

Super cool. I’ve longed to get back in a clubman for years....
love your work!
Amazing build! I have a bunch of respect for fellow Locost builders I was going to use S2000 running gear too until I scored some deals on miata parts
Nice build, great dad!
Cool build with so many helpful tips.

Well done. On my bucket list
Air power rivet gun eh? I’m going to get one of those! Great built. Thanks for sharing.
Very impressive! Way out of my league though.
That s2000 engine sounds great for that style car . They have more than enough power for a light car . 😀👍

I had a concept of mounting a Chevrolet Corvair (air cooled 6 cyl) up front into a Super 7, with the trans-axle mounted behind the seats (weight distribution).
That came out great! one suggestion down the road is to consider changing out that steering wheel.
Wow amazing car and alot of work wonder how much it weighs and horsepower
Stock 2002 S2000 engine was 240HP and the car weighed 1840 pounds. It was very quick
wow amazing build fabrication- I am looking at a GBS or somthing like that using a miata drivetrain
Amazing thanks
This is gorgeous!! What was your total cost?
Really nice build. What is what looks like a Schrader tire valve doing sticking up from the bottom of the windscreen?
That is the post for the windshield wiper. Didn't have it on. Had to have one to for registration process.
very nice
What did you end up doing with the rear shocks?
I ultimately move them to a vertical position and abandoned the cantilevered setup.
👍👍👍👍
Problem with Lexan is that it is prone to stress cracking and the windshield will whiten after a year or so.
great build but please don't put any music to next video
What?!!! All that and we got to see no screaming take off or thundering drive bys?! 😭😉
Not really Caterham 7 it's just a kit car. I think you've missed the purpose how much does that weigh?
No need for a Dr. in the family ...
Need mechanics and electronics engineers.
What a fantastic build. The only thing missing is the sound like this one. ruclips.net/video/kat79zrVDQg/видео.html
Quality build👍🏻great outcome👍🏻music👎🏻💩
Watched the whole thing, and don't see it run or drive. That's unsatisfying.
You are correct. This was about building the car. Will try to get some running and driving videos in the future.
Test drive alone and wear a good helmet. Risk yourself not others.
