Stepping outside of character to poke fun at things is always fun but Sam’s ability to troll while not completely jumping outside of character is just incredible. The way he messes with Fjord as Veth is always hilarious. And this sequence here is masterful.
The best thing about Sam is he always reconciles all the trolling at just the right moment and hits us with something genuinely well-worded and redeeming. And then he sees a new easy opening and starts fuckin’ around again. 🤣
Tbh I wouldn't even say this is metagaming, since Yasha and Beau were being super vague (for obvious reasons) so Veth would have no reason to assume she was getting in way in any way.
I suppose. Veth is not acting on information Sam knows OOC. But Sam is absolutely playing Veth this way _because_ of what he knows OOC, so it's somewhat meta.
