  • Comparison of 3 different information systems - analog, digital, and quantum. Also your brain!
This channel is dedicated to explaining complicated technology into simple terms that anyone can grasp, especially the layman. Learning about digital technology is important to the field of computer science, whether it is for the creative arts, coding or programming, data work, history, game development, web design, app building, and more. Whether it is tips, hints, tricks, hacks, or even a tutorial, education of these topics is what it is all about, whether for beginners or advanced, it is digital technology, explained!

Hi all - I checked RUclips and could not find a comparison of these 3 in one video, so I did my best to fill the void. Cheers!

The main issue with digital computers is power consumption. Room temperature superconducting transistors will change that significantly.

FYI in the first analogy, I wish I used a video of an analog clock with a continuously spinning second-hand, as opposed to one that turns in increments. It would have illustrated analog better. Oh well!

I just caught up with this. Thank you for your clear explanation. Plus the other comment about your voice is correct, very easy listening.

Seems to me a quantum computer is a different kind of analog computer, especially if you translate the spins up and down vectors into binary values,

I almost included a section about how the percentage of whether or not a qubit is going to be a one or zero is analog in nature. But even with this I still think traditional digital and analog are more similar than quantum is different from both.

Brain is analog and quantum computer in the same time, but also it behaves somehow as a crystal like structure.

Is there any way a qubit can use hexadecimal (a base of 16 ) (0 to 15/F) instead of binary (a base of two) (0,1)
So instead of 0 and 1 simultaneously (superposition)
The qubit will use 0 to F simultaneously, and call it Superior positioning.

I am no quantum physicist but thinking of the Schrödinger‘s cat analogy it seems like it is still a base 2 system but who knows, you might be onto something! Haha

You should make a video about Demonic programing: a computational language for single-particle equilibrium thermodynamics, and its formal semantics.
You can download the PDF. It a good read
That would be a great vid.

You can encode binary to hex as long as you have enough bits or qubits, and you could choose your encoding scheme depending on how you built your computer to translate the resulting measured particle spins

      Use an atom-orbital qubit..

Where is the evidence of real world Quantum? It's almost like it's an idea, not real kinda like space and dinosaurs. It makes sense in the world that it is presented but in the end it isn't real.
