Very interesting project. I might want to try something similar with one of my Pioneers. What is the Sony (?) motor part number and why ou chose to use this very one? Are there any alternatives? What W&F you expect to achieve with this mod? To my experience belts is the bottleneck for Pioneer reference master mecha, but not the motors. End as new quality belts are almost impossible to find, do you think changing the motor will make a ny sence? PS I just receive a set of Pioneer CT-95 belist form Websparepats and going to try the out maybe next weekend to see if they are any good.
I thougt of that as well, but the problem is that finding CT-A9 donor to mod any later (enen a top) Pioneer deck is like finding a vintage Bugatti donor to mod you VW Polo
Amazing 💗

BSL motor has lower W&F and better speed stability. That one is from Sony TC-K81, 555, F6 models.
I think that ct 9a has a direct drive motor mechanics wich is most similar for this deck and can be easily fitted

@@ychesnokov Agree :) If I would find a CT-9 I will restore it as I did before :)
