I keep hearing complaints about the “double support meta”. Honestly though a lot of the reason things aren’t dying is because everyone is too busy doing 1v1’s or their own thing instead of focusing targets as a team or following any sort of target priority. There’s no callouts and almost no one uses voice chat etc. I mean it’s cool to have overtuned flanks and damage and fast ttk but having a bit more healing or durability will eventually help result in an increase in communication, strategy, and team work out of necessity.
Vora is lowkey good inna support meta, her attacks apply longer lasting caut for your team so if you play more on that with your team, you can actually really thrive as vora against heavy sustain, and you have decent nuke potential with her stacks. What I like to do is apply pressure on their backline as my team advances on their tanks and since my caut lasts longer it's more spooky for the supports and I dont gotta be out of cover as long to keep that caut applied, if done right you dont need kills to succeed, just clean up with your team for points, is it as fun as getting kills? Maybe not but it's still honestly really effective
DoT primary attacks, like Vora or Fernando, only apply anti-heal on the initial hit. The proceeding tick damage does not re-apply or refresh the duration of anti-heal. You still only get the 1.5 seconds past the initial hit.
You sure? I legit only play vora now adays, my next highest level is like 100 while my vora is 999. I always thought it lasted longer but still the playstyle of watching the supports with your walls and applying it everytime it goes away is super effective with vora, build your stacks as you do and strike when you see an opening, or just spook the supports, evie and other flanks that can move fast cant stalk a support through walls to keep applying the caut.
Andrew you exaggerate double support being meta so much it really isn’t meta in the slightest. Maybe lower elo it works out but 9/10 against a competent team of players the damage difference really takes over quickly and your healing just becomes ineffective so fast. Especially when supports have to deal with some of the most OP and ass mechanics in the game like flanks that can solo dive you and get away with it damn near for free like vatu, evie, talus, VII, sometimes even a good Maeve or vora if they use they’re abilities properly they can come in and jump back across the map in no time or effort at all. Supports that aren’t OP and without key words or that just need talent reworks do need love especially because of global cauterize. But most of them are caught up with the current state of the game and if anything the tank class characters need some love as a lot of them have useless talents and are outdated. Just really tired of the support class slander ying and io only need to be slightly tuned down not completely nerfed into the ground and their kits are fine. Remove keywords and there won’t be any issues with the class at all
16:00 how do you get these conditions to be written out and with icons on your screen? (Stunned, crippled, reduced healing) I’ve looked everywhere in the settings but I can’t find where to turn them on. Thanks in advance

@@thechosenfives not really, they nerfed her ult so many times and also it's bugged to where it doesn't even work half the time and there's many ways to just just avoid getting the execute anyways. bcs supports are the main reason why a team fight is won or not. @@senjuko7081While of course things like Ying's ult or Lillith's heal dumping are dumb, not only did he not mention vora being op but a flank playing well can fully negate a support's efforts
@@senjuko7081 It's the flankers/dmg who hold the most weight in winning a team fight. The shoulders are on them. The tanks make space for them while the support sustains them. If you're a support and your flanker/dmg sucks, then you can only watch as your team falls apart. You can only do so much as a healer no matter how skilled you are. the double support meta drastically starts failing when you reach third round
Vora may be an "average flank" overall, but she fits right into my play style as she can heal herself
that plus her dmg over time is so fun
