- 1975. Disaster strikes the Beira D oil rig off the coast of Scotland. Navigate the collapsing rig to save your crew from an otherworldly horror on the edge of all logic and reality.
STILL WAKES THE DEEP is a return to the first-person narrative horror genre for The Chinese Room, creator of critically acclaimed games such as Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, and Dear Esther.
You are an off-shore oil rig worker, fighting for your life through a vicious storm, perilous surroundings, and the dark, freezing North Sea waters. All lines of communication have been severed. All exits are gone. All that remains is to face the unknowable horror that’s come aboard. - Игры
I am so pumped for this game. Everything about it draws me in. The moody atmosphere, the North Sea, the potential to explore, its horror, Its Christmas. “Brrrrrrr” I have shivers.
Oil rig, Scottish Accent…I’m sold
Not a huge horror game fan but I am so drawn to this game. Oil rigs are spooky and I'm excited to explore this one!
Oil rigs in the ocean are the perfect setting for horror, especially cosmic/Lovecraftian horror. This better be great
Instant buy! Keeping the art in the artwork love😍
I will be playing. looks right up my alley.
Dam this horror game really look good like oil rigs and horror games this fit right into a horror game

Looks promising. Hope it’s scary…
Please don't flop. This game looks like it's going to be my jam!!!
Reminds me of Cold Fear.
Authentic Scottish swearing. 😀
Can't wait I'm always down for a good story. Games today are my books.
If games are your books you might like the litrpg genre. You should pick up Dungeon Crawler Carl come August 27th or just get the audible book now it's great
😮😮😮😮😮👍❤️
I expect this game so much..
Why has “The North sea” become popular, odd ?
Very intrigued by this game since I first saw it during a Xbox Showcase. I do feel though that devs are not really into 60 fps (at least not on consoles) and that it would make it a no go for me.
I wanna see the final product before buying. But it looks promising
El video juego está ala vuelta de la esquina 😮😂
Cloverfield game ?
I love the idea but why add the supernatural to it, it's a natural horror just look at the piper alpha disaster it's scary beyond belief what those guys who survived went through
Voice acting and side characters are good and stuff. But games and its developers need to remember that only thing a game needs is, is the gameplay. Which am not seeing here.
Release in October or bust. Only a small number of horror fans play these games outside of spooky season. I sure don’t.
must be sad
Seriously dude? I never in all my life have heard of people doing this. While there's extra atmosphere to be had to playing the game in a spooky time of the year, there's absolutely no reason why you can't play it at any other time. I'd put money on the opposite of what you said being true.
@@fireaza Who plays or goes to the movies to see scary stuff in June? Only horror enthusiasts. Some exceptions would be amazing games like Resident Evil or Dead Space. But lower budget games? I’d only buy during Halloween season.
Never heard anyone else doing this. Personally I watch, read and play horror all year round.
@@stefankristoffersen9349 your Halloween season must feel super special
