  • Part 2 of 15 how you can increase your liquor store sales this year.
Name brand items like Smirnoff, Tito's, Hennessy, and Georgi are so popular everywhere because they are marketed with millions of dollars every year.
You can take advantage of their marketing efforts to draw more customers into your store.
Find out what is the most competitive price in your area is on these and match it!
This will help you start flipping your inventory much faster and it will increase your revenue immediately.
You can work on convincing some of these new regulars to switch over to a more profitable brand later. The most important step is to change the prices today and go with it for as long as you can.

Thank you. I don't recommend posmatic. They are not professional and don't give a shit about improving their software. Unfortunately though i haven't found any other pos that i want to switch to yet

Thank you for the great videos, you doing awesome, I'm from Washington State and we have huge tax rates ,spirit, liter and at the top of that we have to pay 17% of profits to the liquor board as a store owner. My question is what should be the best margin you prefer for our store.
    Thank you.

Wow that's rough. I operate currently at 17% gross margin, much lower than my margin last year but I'm doing it to increase sales and buy more inventory.
You have to figure out what your goal is for the business, like take cash home for you, or create a brand that will last after you leave or what.
The lower your margin generally the more your sales will grow.
