My 4 yr old daughter is also called Hope and is autistic too. I receive this message too and believe in God's total healing for my Hope.

Thank you for this Special needs parents need all the hope they can get since there is little to NONE in the medical community. My son has special needs and since we began actively declaring healing scriptures over him and spending time with God and asking Him how he can be healed, we have seen a marked difference that has even been noticeable to his teachers. We expect his full healing to manifest and will NOT come into agreement with theology that tries to explain away disappointment with hopelessness.
Thank you! You are completely and utterly RIGHT! I have Autism myself, and it is part of who we are, and is in our DNA Structure. There is no such thing as a 'CURE'. The only 'cure' we have is Understanding. The symptoms can be challenging, but we make up for that in other different skills. and It is the way we deal with it that counts. I have a GREAT long term memory and is my super-power. I reckon this is from God, but not in the way Christians are portraying it. Autism is not a burden, it is a blessing. I am pleased I am on the High Functioning end of the spectrum too! I am a 21 Year young, Woman of God, and I see Autism as one of the most puzzling but amazing experiences I have. I treat my Autism positively and use it to my advantage. I am Thankful To God that it isn't any worse than some who are at the lower end of the spectrum to me. It is also to do with the Perfectly unique and individual person who has it. I mean, if I was lower end of the spectrum, I would have probably a different experience, perspective and understanding entirely, and who is to say they are not making the most of their lives. They may not understand much, but you can still be Happy! Like me! I have accepted my condition and accepted it as part of who I am. I am not ashamed, but very proud of what I have achieved with my Autism! ASD is a Blessing, People shouldn't treat it as a curse, as how is it going to help those with Autism in need? I work with students with severe autism and sometimes I question healing I pray for it but I wonder what we are praying for when we pray for healing because my experience is that people who have autism are incredibly prophetic and some I know have fore told pregnancies and feel things way before Ido. I desire for parts of the autistic mind to be healed and that as Chris said they could manage socially and communicate more easily but part of the way there brains are wired and some behaviours means they experience the father and creation in a way I never will. Id like to know your thoughts ? I believe totally if it's Gods will he will heal .
Sounds interesting. You have to understand that everyone is individual so each one of us will experience God in our own ways through his will. Having Autism is just something we have got. Our senses are heightened because of something called Sensory sensitivity and I suppose it may be more intense. God's love is unconditional and individual to us all. I believe the healing should be making things easier for is to communicate with other people and other social skills. Why would God heal me of something that he gave me as a gift? ^_^ why would it be on this earth if it was a mistake? Nature and God doesn't make mistakes, it is a positive attitude towards it that counts. Different but not defined by Autism. People should stop 'diss'ing the ability ^_^ humans make mistakes and cast out wrong judgement when really God made us in his image and judgement is reserved for him and him alone. We are perfect in HIS eyes and in HIS will. There is nothing wrong with Autism. It just means the individual that has got it may need more support depending in their needs. I would say the healing would be making things easier for the individual with ASD and those clise to them AND I believe sensory sensitivity for me has intensified my relationship with God and really the while condition in general.

It was Jesus who healed me of autism and I'm glad my mom prayed for me I would be be lonely without my family I couldn't talk i have doctors reports to prove and has my mom explain situations to me she told me Jesus doesn't force his self on any of us all you have to do is get into the word pray fast if you want to Believe is the right way and Jesus doesn't give out any autism or diease that's not biblical not in the bible at and i was not function normal at all my also said she pray some of the people are in unbelief read Mark 9:14-29 parents have the authority over the children i am adult i am catching up with life people said catching up quick have a blessed day

My wife has autism and is amazing. She doesn't need healing, she needs acceptance, just like you. Find the strength your autism gives you. Everyone has weaknesses, and that is ok. Nobody is perfect. I bet your good outweighs your bad, and I promise autism is not a flaw. Keep your head up, and focus on your good.

I have Autism, but I'm happy God made me who I am because it's for a reason! I also have epilepsy and other ailments. I wanted to get this out there, because I proclaim this from the rooftops that I am His. Let me be who God made me to be. I embrace my struggles and I praise Jesus for every milestone! I just recently celebrated getting my motor vehicle learners' permit. The next will be graduating college!!
I was healed of autism my mother is a Christian all sickness and diease and is a curse it doesn't give glory to God God sent his son to heal it's your decision weather you want it or not Jesus doesn't force doesn't want robots i couldn't talk at all doctors say i am a miracle no parent wants the child in a group home drug up and some have been touched my mom collected the stories and there was a report on the news group home bringing girls in to have abortion girls supposed to be with girls and this young girl had a sexual diease my aunt use to work at one the boss got mad my mom proved him wrong and my grandma thank you Jesus for healing me praise you lord Jesus my mom got me tutor to help me with i am adult people who seen me in the pass knows i had autism have a blessed day
First of God did give that boy blindness he did heal him read it my mother is taking bible study on healing i am totally healed i remember what i use to do we wrote a book about it i dream about Jesus told me i am healed i am going to be a surprise and a wonder and don't believe thenaysayers and that people are operating and unbelief and some people going to call the Seltzer tistic and they're not artistic they just looking to put people down and here I am able to talk for a whole year now and another thing that about and that would pull it has nothing to do with his health that was a messenger of Satan it was in the name of Jesus that he could go on that's what it had to do my mother is taking a Bible study she knows and she showed it to me in Romans chapter 3 verse 4 it says this let every man let God's word be true and every man a liar you need to go look up more and no and Isaiah no weapon formed against me shall prosper and Jesus died for our healing he didn't give you autism and Jesus is not give out what tizum that's not in the Bible he gave out no diseases and the people is looking at this they like to know where you got your information from that's not in the Bible that's something that people made up trying to make yourself feel better and nobody's trying to take nothing away from you who in the world wants to live with seizures and epilepsy I've seen that and it don't look good should you really be driving I am heal and I'm happy I'm an adult woman of God I didn't receive my healing tells 34 I couldn't talk and now I'm 35 years old and I can talk and my mother got my mother got tutors for me teachers for me and God wants everyone well my mother studies with Andrew Wommack there's a testimony there of two boys was heal autism and they said they're glad to be healed just like me
Agree with you trillion times I was healed of autism i couldn't talk bath i was on diapers my had to change my monthly women pads i grunt run around the house with eyes closed bumping into every thing and my mom kept me mom didn't want any one to harm i remember what it was like i like me better now

super natural healing is for those who have faith and abide. i tried everything science have to offer with my son but the moment God spoke into my heart to trust in him, he delivered me first from my son asd diagnosis i start to see changes in him as i pray for him everyday, to speak life and restoration over him it amazes me everyday how God show his mercy upon us as we humbles our selves before him.
Yes very true I am trusting and walking with God for total restoration and My son is already improving incredibly just keep on Declaring God's words and never lose hope

Wanting to cure autism is the same as wanting to cure someone of being left-handed.

Yeah Autism is just a different way of thinking and social interaction.
Now obviously there are extreme forms of Autism. Non verbal, self harming ect.
So Autism is a wide spectrum
@Perry Winkle True. But there are ways to communicate besides moving your mouth and using your vocal chords. Example, ASL. There are also Apps on cell phones that help with communication as well. Yeah, It's not all 100% sunshine and rainbows, but it can be managed. And there are ways for a non-verbal autistic person to communicate besides speech.

@Story-Time Providing them with alternative ways of communicating can make a huge difference. Speaking isn't the only viable method of communication.

My son claimed this year In 3rd grade, he will be free from the spirit of autism. Out of nowhere, he was transferred to a multilingual academy with a classroom of 27 regular kids.

If this can happen, can a severely disabled stroke patient be completely healed from speech aphasia and high blood pressure and diabetes? My dad had a massive stroke three years ago that completely destroyed his entire personality. Doctors say he has the cognitive reasoning of a 14 year old so his common sense doesn’t work. It has cause so much chaos in my family and i just want it to be healed.

Also, that verse means we are healed *OF OUR SIN* not of all mental and physical ailments and disabilities.
@Payton Tanner It is completely possible for that. Medical miracles happen all the time. And God still performs miracles. However, he can also use your father in his state for his purpose while having the "cognitive reasoning of a 14 year old". The Lord can still use him for his glory like that as much as he can without those disabilities.
Chris!!! is a WONDERFUL man for saying he hates autism!!! I hate it as well! I have severe aspergers as well i'm verbal but I can not keep conversations going at all and it's so depressing to live with it makes me sick!!! In agreement with you for your healing. My son is also afflicted with autism and it is torment for him too and I agree it's not of God. The Word says fear and torment go together and that perfect love casts out fear. Torment is not loving. Lord loose this child of Yours who wants to be set free from captivity by Your blood Jesus and in Your mighty name amen.

Your autism does not keep you from being a woman of God. Do not believe anyone who says that it separates you from God. It is simply a brain that works differently. Please, in addition to praying, find a therapist who specializes in autism to help you develop strategies for your hurdles. To use a parable, do not bury your money in the field, but actively work to multiply it for a greater reward. Prayer is good, but prayer alongside action is better. Use the knowledge that people are praying for you not as some hope that you'll be miraculously "cured" without any effort, but as encouragement in your journey of learning how to navigate in a world that wasn't designed for you and works to try to knock you down, in part with the notion that your autism makes you less of a woman of God. Do not be discouraged.

It could be that he needs understanding and reasonable accommodations. Giving us the help we need to succeed in life, that doesn't mean healing us, and being patient and understanding can make a world of difference.

Giver her peace, Lord, for we know how much of a struggle it is, not only to have Autism, but to be a family member of someone with Autism. Lord I pray you give her peace and allow your will to be done in her life. And Lord I also pray for her son, Sam who has Autism. As we know, Autism is not an easy thing to have. But allow him to improve. And let your will be done. If your will is to cure him of Autism, let it be so, for there is nothing you can't do. But if you plan to use him for the Glory of Your Kingdom while also having Autism, let him move mountains Lord because we know you can use everything, including disabilities, for your glory. But in all this Lord, let your will in their lives be done. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen

Shalom means peace, brother stop mistranslating scripture. I recently was diagnosed with Asperger‘s (which is on the Autism spectrum), this rhetoric is hurtful and disingenuous. The logical side of my brain is fully developed and the social Communicational and emotional regulation part are not. It’s a genetic mutation in the utero stage of development in the womb.
and it's also inheritable, which no one on here seems to understand. I see a lot of "my baby has been cursed" "I ask forgiveness for whatever I did to make my baby have autism" etc etc like its a plague when no, it's genetic, and those lines of thinking are bad to the kid's mental health. I'm guessing that they don't wanna know the fact that it's an inheritable genetic disorder cause if all your kids are autistic that means theres a possibility that you or your partner are too and that's scary to them because of how they see autistic people. It's sad. We just wanna be understood.

When it's actually just a fundamental part of my identity that formed in-utero and presented itself when I was younger? You're saying that because of who I am, I'm going to go to Hell no matter what? This is the kind of thing that makes me lose faith in Christianity. Autism isn't something to be healed. It makes me think that God would just send me to Hell because apparently people aren't supposed to be autistic. Maybe trying communicating to actually autistic people, low and high support, before you try to "heal" them of a disorder that's not gonna slowly kill them like cancer is.

It's not a curse it's genetics. It's not something that you need to ask forgiveness for, much like you wouldn't ask forgiveness for blue eyes. It may seem like a curse because of how modern society is not suited for autistic people, but back in biblical times when it was important to have members of a smaller society highly specialized in different crafts to work together, the autistic trait to hyperfocus and have special interests would have been very beneficial.

Lord, I come to you today to pray over these parents and their children. For the parents Lord, I pray they strengthen their faith in you as their Savior. And I may not know their struggles Lord, but you do. I pray that if there are parents that are struggling with raising a disabled child, I pray that you give them peace and allow them to have help for their child and to trust in you.
As for the children Lord, I pray that if it is your will to cure them, let it be so. Let your will be done. For we know you still do miracles to this day. But Lord, if it is part of your will for them to be disabled here while on Earth, I pray that you allow them to get the help they need to live with it better. I pray that their testimonies will be heard for we know you are still a Good Father even when you don't heal disabilities and we know that it is 100% possible for you to use their disabilities to your glory. As an autistic person I’m sad to see this as well. I don’t want to be “healed” of my autism … autism has never been the problem. My autism helps me see the world in a different way from neurotypical people; we have a unique perspective. God himself showed me and affirmed me in this and for the first time in my life I know that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Autism isn’t the problem … it’s the world expecting us to conform to THEIR standards, when Christians are supposed to believe that we aren’t of this world in the first place. YES, my life has been more challenging than someone who’s allistic, but only because I’ve held myself to the standards of neurotypical people. My autism helps me to see the world in a beautiful way! I am accepted by Christ as I am! Not all churches see autism as a disease, though. More and more ignorance is being exposed. I am not a mistake. My mind is not “diseased, cursed or disordered.” I am fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of my God! OP, I urge you to go watch the Chosen … they portray the disciple Matthew as having Asperger’s and they never ONCE try to insinuate that he needs to be healed. Instead Jesus utilizes Matthew’s autistic abilities to glorify God and serve the kingdom! That’s right; we have GOD GIVEN ABILITIES that allistic people don’t have … so are we really disabled?

autism is a wiring of the brain. It's not a sickness. Now if someone cannot speak or is so severe that simple stimulus causes them actual pain, then pray God helps them in those areas. But to say Autism itself needs healing is the statement of an ignorant person. Some people just don't feel "comfortable" being around autistics. It's those people who need to learn more.

The church needs to come to an understanding of autism. I think its wrong to make a blanket statementof I hate autism. There are many good things that come from autism as well as bad. It could be a normal human state that others need to adapt to. Severe autism of course is very hard to handle.. That does need some kind of healing. We need more wisdom before making a judgment

^_^ Thank you! You are completely and utterly RIGHT! I have Autism myself, and it is part of who we are, and is in our DNA Structure. There is no such thing as a 'CURE'. The only 'cure' we have is Understanding. The symptoms can be challenging, but we make up for that in other different skills. and It is the way we deal with it that counts. I have a GREAT long term memory and is my super-power. I reckon this is from God, but not in the way Christians are portraying it. Autism is not a burden, it is a blessing. I am pleased I am on the High Functioning end of the spectrum too! I am a 21 Year young, Woman of God, and I see Autism as one of the most puzzling but amazing experiences I have. I treat my Autism positively and use it to my advantage. I am Thankful To God that it isn't any worse than some who are at the lower end of the spectrum to me. It is also to do with the Perfectly unique and individual person who has it. I mean, if I was lower end of the spectrum, I would have probably a different experience, perspective and understanding entirely, and who is to say they are not making the most of their lives. They may not understand much, but you can still be Happy! Like me! I have accepted my condition and accepted it as part of who I am. PLEASE love and accept her. I can tell you from experience, being treated by a parental figure like you'll never be good enough for them because of an aspect of your being which the parental figure wishes would magically change, is really really really harmful and pushes them away. To hammer home just how harmful, I am lucky to still be around. PLEASE do not make her feel like she will never be enough for you because of something that she cannot change about herself. That's what "I wish that you weren't entirely yourself" does to someone.
However that doesn't mean that you can't want her to learn to navigate easier in this society which is not set up for her. Find a good therapist who specializes in autism and who cares about finding strategies for her hurdles instead of "making it go away"
