"do we not judge those that are within?" 1Cor 5: 12 The only way I see these passages on both sides, working in harmony is to think of the proverb as just a proverb and the NT passage in Rom 14 as in context of eating food and drink, as it says there. We cannot take a proverb or Romans scripture to be a tail that wags the dog. How else can we correct, rebuke or perform Mat 18: 15?

Someone please share your thoughts. At 31 min he talks about God not giving us what we want when we ask for it because it would kill us. I am praying for my husband's salvation (we are separated and God has told me to stand for our marriage). A few weeks ago I felt that the Lord said "if I did it now it would crush him." What does it mean? How could God presenting Himself to someone for salvation crush them if the time for salvation wasn't right?
We could try to understand what he means by it but this is where your faith and obedience in what he’s told you comes into play. You trust that he knows what’s best. Pray for understanding if you want it, our guesses aren’t truth.
