hey so a tip on getting a breast reduction covered by insurance, it can be helpful to start proving that a reduction is required for your quality of life. Basically, at every doctor’s visit you should tell them you’re having back pain/shoulder pain/etc. at multiple appointments because of your chest and have them put it on your chart. that way you’re creating “evidence” to give to the insurance company that a reduction is medically necessary for you (to prevent more strain on the back/possible injury/more surgeries down the line) It’s also great if you can find a doctor who is willing to help you out by writing letters to the insurance company or talking to the hospital’s insurance people to see if they can do anything, etc. Obviously coverage always depends on your specific insurance provider and this may not work for everyone, but it could help get some of the procedure covered

I'm new here and let me tell you, this channel has single-handedly made me have faith that I could actually dress the way I want and that reflects who I am. I'm an enby cursed with an hourglass body. Sometimes it's fine since I'm kinda fluid in my gender expression but 95% of the time it's, well, not so fine. And I've lived with the not-so-cute sports bra uniboob for years because it's been easier to deal with than having the huge bazongas that normal bras bring. Then again, ordering a binder feels a bit like an overkill. I'll look into the compress top thing RIGHT NOW, I didn't know those were even a thing.

I've used both. I do like something about the adjustable tops' straps better but really I haven't used the adjustable feature. I think it's just that they seem a little stronger. Not sure any difference is worth paying more.

you might be able to find some in person for cheaper! i think my local walmart has a rack in the womens undergarments section that has compression garments so if youve got a store like that near you (even better if it has a fitting room too) it would be worth checking out!
I recently heard about people successfully arguing against insurance, when they would not cover breast reductions or unjuries from giving birth, because it is "natural parts of life". 😑 Arguing that it is discriminatory, because women and other breast having and/or birthing people, shouldn't have to live in pain and discomfort just because of their bodies. No accepting "with painful labour..." sh*t. And because a too tight foreskin or prostate growth in people with male genitals is covered.
Backpain, backpain, backpain!!! Every time you go to any doc for any reason, tell them and make a note of it. Have them write to insurance on ur behalf on the necessity of surgery for ur pain

I’m going to have to try one, but I am scared that they won’t give me the lift that I like. I’m a masculine presenting woman, but I like my 42DDD’s to be higher to the Lord because I have a short torso. So what it does is make my torso appear longer, since they’re not hanging so low. I find with sports bra’s the boobs hang longer and make my torso look shorter. So I’m scared of trying the compression bra due to that, but we shall see!
