A roller skating elephant headlines over Anthony Quinn and Hoyt Axton on The Mike Douglas Show. He was sure keeping the 70’s alive in 1980.
This must have been a year after Group W/Westinghouse dropped Mike Douglas because his show would be shown on KDKA 2.
Although Devo would be a guest in just a couple weeks, featuring the very '80s-sounding "Whip It".

@scottaw666 Hoyt Axton wrote 3 Dog Night's big hit record Joy to the World and his mama Mae Boren Axton wrote Heartbreak Hotel for the King Elvis Presley.......a roller skating elephant I bet if that happened today PETA would have a heart attack....I hope you will reply to this
