He just grabbed the curtain and closed the view, while looking directly in my eyes without any expression. I felt soooo embarrassed... I can't imagine how he felt. I hope he's not too traumatised by the young and idiotic girl that looked at him while he was doing his thing.
I had someone walk in on me before at a resturaunt/arcade in grade school. The door lock was broken and the other stall had something wrong with it. Well a girl walked in, saw me going potty, screamed, slammed the door, freaked out and yelled "there's someone in there!" and then her three friends proceeded to do the same thing, all screaming but then not closing the door and just standing there freaking out and watching me... To this day I am traumatized and consistently check and recheck every bathroom and stall I go to.

Jim is just the... only "normal guy" in the office, and that makes for a good viewer placeholder or whatever, but at the end of the day, we never saw Jim EARN his spot as a top salesperson. We never saw him be good at his job in any way. He shows up with a girlfriend one day, and we never saw his charms in the relationship. It seems that Jim receives the attention of the women in these departments in small part because of his pranks... but mostly because he's the only elegible physically attractive one in the bunch. He's top of the food chain in the office, but in the real-world... kinda mid... and he isn't accustomed to humility, and in the real world, that goes very poorly in new environments. Outside characters/extras always expose the main characters because they are the control of "normal". We as the audience see their absurdity, but are normalized to it and accept it, because well, it's a show. But when other characters get introduced, they immediately pick up on those absurdities and call them out, acting as a relatable extension for the audience. Like when Charles came in at Season 5 when Michael and others left for his own paper company. He kept shutting everybody down and was callous towards Jim's antics. He was a no nonsense guy, but was the fun stopper for the office and for the show, so he was shunned out and gotten rid of quickly. With the daycare guy, he exposes this delusion that Jim had of his overblown charisma. Just because he could talk his way in or out of anything in the office didn't mean he could just do that anywhere outside of the office. It's refreshing to see that throughout the series, because it makes sense. If we encountered the office characters in their universe, we would act the same. Matter of fact, I guarantee you act that way towards the real-life counterparts that you see in your own life.
So many good moments here but from 1:23 to 1:33 is amazing. Both John and Jenna didn't say a word to each other but communicated everything this scene was about. Jim and Pam staring uncomfortably knowing this will be rough, seeing the potential this daycare has slip away because of this little mistake; Jim shakes the guy's hand, confident as the salesman he is then looking at the camera with subtle fear afterwards. Pam looking at Jim to confirm this was indeed the man he saw on the toilet, Jim, eyes closed, nodding yes...yes it is him and Pam mouthing 'okay...' I love it.
Reminds me of the time my dad and I went to buy a new phone on a mall. As we were about to walk into this small store, the only salesman asked himself out to the bathroom and spent almost 30 minutes taking a dump while we waited for what seemed an eternity. He later returned, obviously acted as if nothing had happened and proceeded to sell a phone to my dad. It was kind of a power move, come to think about it. Making the costumer wait while you poop and then making the sale.
think about it, the camera was pointed so you could see the man on the toilet is it possible he saw the cameras too.... making this situation even worse...
I work at a gas station I can’t tell you how many times I’ve accidentally walked in on somebody in one of the stalls during bathroom check because they didn’t lock the stall and didn’t answer the door when I called...It’s always weird
He makes a valid point. They aren't as charming as they think they are. In fact, Jim and Pam often act like they're better than everybody else, and have open contempt for the people they work with.
Pam: “No. ‘Cause we’re really nice people but you don’t seem to like us.” Toilet man: “Do you ever consider that you might not be as charming as you think you are?” Me: THANK YOU!

There was a guy sitting on his toilet, totally carefree. We looked directly in eachother eyes. I freezed there, standing like an idiot. He just grabbed the curtain and closed the view, while looking directly in my eyes without any expression.
I felt soooo embarrassed... I can't imagine how he felt. I hope he's not too traumatised by the young and idiotic girl that looked at him while he was doing his thing.
Those little awkward moments that only happen with strangers are the confetti of life.
pam's face right before she goes 'is this because jim walked in on you' is like givenoshit perfection
Daycare Guy: "Did you ever consider that you may not be as charming as you think you are?"
Me: YES! THANK YOU!
He is really charming though
Yeah, he sees right through them.
@@annahitarathi1923 In the later seasons Jim and Pam try too hard to be charming and morally correct. Which isn’t charming
Nice try Angela.
Pam looking at Jim to confirm this was indeed the man he saw on the toilet, Jim, eyes closed, nodding yes...yes it is him and Pam mouthing 'okay...'
I love it.
“why didn’t you just lock the door man” that line got me dying 🤣🤣🤣
Someone needs to edit this with Jim pointing into the bathroom while the door is open and the guys waving his hands and Jim still say “Adorable” 🤣
I hope he washed his hands..
@@evitasdad it wouldn't be as much of a power move if he had washed his hands.
@@noa5725 lol
think about it, the camera was pointed so you could see the man on the toilet is it possible he saw the cameras too.... making this situation even worse...
1:57 me after any awkward social conversation/interaction
The subtle quarrel at the end that people gradually let it all out is so exquisite... fascinating.
3:17 I love how Jim looks up quickly after confronting the guy
The little mouth open and hand waving was gold
"Why didn't you lock the door man"
That image will forever be ingrained in Jim
I love how the camera guy thought it was necessary to zoom in on the teacher in the bathroom
Jim’s face when he said “coming from the guy who still uses a children’s bathroom” lol
0:31 that is a father who just made a dad joke. He is a true father in this scene.
“The infantry” pun points for Jim. Daycare? Reminds me of a certain one run by a bear that smells like strawberries
HOW DID SHE NOT LAUGH AT "THE INFANTRY"
This is not "stapler in the jelly" joke level and requires an actuall intellect to process and appreciate it.
@@elozvyut you need a hug
2:36 the way that dude looked into the camera 💀💀💀
Jim looking at the camera at 1:30 always makes me burst at laughter😂

69th like
Tree Beaver I would’ve liked but it’s at 69
1:10 best moment
Wow Mapquest. Brings back memeories to a simpler time lol.
I work at a gas station I can’t tell you how many times I’ve accidentally walked in on somebody in one of the stalls during bathroom check because they didn’t lock the stall and didn’t answer the door when I called...It’s always weird
3:14 this is as much angry Jim can get
You're forgetting when he found out Michael was sleeping with Pam's mom.
TheDarkishKnightro right! He completely lost it there
"CALEB!"
Or when Jim chewed Pam out over the phone
to be fair he didnt lock the door for a public restroom knowing he had potential clients coming any minute
weren't you listening? the doors don't lock
I just can’t believe how much content you can get out of a show that ended 7 years ago
He makes a valid point. They aren't as charming as they think they are. In fact, Jim and Pam often act like they're better than everybody else, and have open contempt for the people they work with.
It's not that they act better Then everyone. It's because they are better than everyone
@@dantegarza3138 How?

I never watched the office, on surface level they seem decent. Are they really that bad?
@@water9892 Not really, I just saw it as a genuine question, like anyone could literally walk in on a kid using the bathroom, and no they are the semi normal ones in the show

The fact that it was super cringy while really hillarious at the same time is just amazing

Just another "Ryan started the fire" comment.
Legend says that the person still poops in the children's toilet despite watching the documentary
“Turns out a lot of parents want the very best for their children.” WHATTTT NO WAY

looks like you missed the point
The daycare guy looks like he lures the kids into vans
Edit: it's not because he's a guy, it's just supposed to be a roast
Bane it’s because he works with kids. Any man who wants to work with children faces the same stigma.
Your joke makes no sense
No, he lures them into the bathroom.
Joe Biden
Usually in a professional roast, the roaster usually says something nice about the roastee sooooo.....
This guy is my favorite cause he sees past Jim and Pam’s BS. “Maybe you’re not as charming as you think you are.” Thank you!! 😂
Lol he was just embarrassed. These are weird comments.
This was around the time I was getting very annoyed with Jim and Pam cause they came off as if they were better than others. I was so happy he told them about themselves.
Bruh the way jim was mad, annoyed and rolled his eyes in a matter of seconds 😂 @1:11
The guys little hand wave 😂 1:10
That’s why there are these things called keys.
Why do people hate Jim and Pam? I think they're adorable, and I love how they have each other's backs.
They're adorable, and arrogant
@@cesartellez3004 yes the arrogance
Honestly I think it's envy
People cant handle their effortless connection always in synch and thinking what we are all thinking. They are far from arrogant but work in an office of social misfits and are the voice of us so called normal people. Plus they are very attractive without even trying.
