The man is a above any other irish singer by a roscommon country mile no one comes close. His voice takes you back to a time when ireland was ireland .that generation that sadly are disappearing every day.keep well paddy

My, my , my....what a lovely song. I was in Dingle recently with my father. It was our first and only trip to Ireland, given his age. I'll return someday with my son, but to hear this wonderful combo of acoustic guitar and fiddle play this song literally brought me to tears. What a joy. Thank you for posting this.

Started listening to Paddy when I was 15 Haven't stopped, had the opportunity to see him live a few times and meet him great man, I'm 52 now and still love sitting in the sun on Sunday morning listening to Paddy.

This song brings back great memories of my years in my first job a German man named Herrman used to sing this song brillantly on our nights out. They were great times as I began my working life. I hope he reads this😅

Just Brilliant I have listened to this version 20 times and each time it hits me the same way. Poignant lyrics supported by a pure and melodic masterful voice. Doesn’t really get much better than that in my opinion.
