Honestly. You're definitely doing what's best for you. I think the youtube creators need to go back to just making content that makes them happy. Yes, what's popular is what makes more money, but if you can do what you love and get paid for it. I think the rewards are double. Mentally and emotionally. Its good to take breaks and putting your family first. Very pleased that your putting you and your family first. Lots of people don't and regret it. I've made that mistake myself. Putting work before my own self. Very excited about the cooking episodes, and any CR lore you put out is fine! Do you honestly! We'll be here! We got your back!
Remember pls that even though we appreciate the heads up, you don't owe us any explanation, nor specific schedules or anything, we're along the ride with you. Just take care of yoruself and allow your inspiration to guide you. I know it's easier said than done (I'm trying to dodge burnout as well, not very successful on my part), but it's more of a mantra so you don't end up hating the stuff you're working on. Associating it with stress is turmoil will only keep soiling it further. Hey, you're not overdramatizing. If you're going through things, you're going through things. I know it's weird to go through them in the public eye. I hear what you're saying, too, about trying to make the recaps making watching Critical Role a chore. It's the dream to turn a hobby into a career but it also risks ruining the hobby. It's a catch 22.

Oh my gosh Luboffin, never apologies for doing what you need to do to make yourself happy. I found you through CR recaps as many of us did but if anything watching those videos has shown me the lovely person you are and while sure I’ll miss the recaps, what I would miss more is no longer seeing your lovely face creating something you enjoy. I can’t speak for the others, but for me, I came for the recaps but I stayed for you and the energy you bring in showing your love for CR. Many creators make recaps but your narration, ideas, and thoughts are what make them special so apply those to literally anything else and I’m in! I loved the Whitestone video and as a total lore nerd myself, would love nothing more than to watch you dive into Exandrian history or major events/time periods, candela’s world, or eventually Daggerheart once it’s released. Literally anything in the land of CR and you got my attention. The cooking videos would also be so fun! Long story short, I understand your fears but at the end of the day, we are here for you no matter what content you feel drawn to. When creators are happy doing what they’re doing, that really does translate into the work so whatever gets your creative gears turning, GO FOR IT! We’ll be here for you, patiently waiting for your next wonderful creation no matter what it is. Take care of yourself and remember making content can be awesome but your creator responsibility is first to yourself to assess when you need a pause or a new direction and no one else. I think it's really cool you're putting your own happiness and wellbeing first. That's not always easy. I personally am mostly here for the lore and miscellaneous content anyway and the actual _recap_ portion of the recaps is just a bonus, so I'm definitely here to stay.

Its funny how much you helped get into Critical Role. Ive been getting crit role tik tok recommendation for a couple of months and 2 months ago i decided to catch up to Campaign 3 throgh recaps. I recapped every single episode by reading critical recap, then watching Marisharaygun's video and ending with your theory videos. The first Full critrole episode i watched was episode 70, and i was so happy to finally watch a full episode and was waiting for the first Luboffin episode where i was up to date. I will miss your recaps but it feels like a rite of passage, you helped me get up to speed and i thank you, the critters is such an incredible community, and i am now on reddit looking to find my first D&D campaign ever. Thank you.
i personally think the lore drops and when you get to the deep dive stuff is the best part of your recap videos. cuz there are a ton of recaps but not everyone does the deep dives. so please lean into what is fun for you and brings joy to you. cuz we will feel the joy and so happy for this new chapter

I found you through CR recaps as many of us did but if anything watching those videos has shown me the lovely person you are and while sure I’ll miss the recaps, what I would miss more is no longer seeing your lovely face creating something you enjoy. I can’t speak for the others, but for me, I came for the recaps but I stayed for you and the energy you bring in showing your love for CR. Many creators make recaps but your narration, ideas, and thoughts are what make them special so apply those to literally anything else and I’m in!
I loved the Whitestone video and as a total lore nerd myself, would love nothing more than to watch you dive into Exandrian history or major events/time periods, candela’s world, or eventually Daggerheart once it’s released. Literally anything in the land of CR and you got my attention. The cooking videos would also be so fun!
Long story short, I understand your fears but at the end of the day, we are here for you no matter what content you feel drawn to. When creators are happy doing what they’re doing, that really does translate into the work so whatever gets your creative gears turning, GO FOR IT! We’ll be here for you, patiently waiting for your next wonderful creation no matter what it is.
Take care of yourself and remember making content can be awesome but your creator responsibility is first to yourself to assess when you need a pause or a new direction and no one else.

I personally am mostly here for the lore and miscellaneous content anyway and the actual _recap_ portion of the recaps is just a bonus, so I'm definitely here to stay.
I wish I could afford to financially help you achieve your goals. Trust and believe that I have told all of my nerdy friends to check out your channel. Your recaps will definitely be missed. Hopefully one day you can afford to have the resources to resume, but for now, mental health is the priority. Thanks for what you do.

As someone who doesn't watch much CR at all but enjoys following along with whatever CR lore you cover & as a DM myself - would love any lore deep dives you put out, as well as anything covered in the 5e CR books (like EGTW). Histories of campaign 1 characters or Exandria deities or locations are super welcome to me as a non critter DM.
Most important of course, is that you find the content you're making fulfilling, so hoping you find that happy place!

As someone between jobs myself (just finished an interview I'm really confident about), I have hit my work stress limit many times and familiar with that feeling. The algorithm doesn't do enough to help small creators.

Its funny how much you helped get into Critical Role. Ive been getting crit role tik tok recommendation for a couple of months and 2 months ago i decided to catch up to Campaign 3 throgh recaps. I recapped every single episode by reading critical recap, then watching Marisharaygun's video and ending with your theory videos. The first Full critrole episode i watched was episode 70, and i was so happy to finally watch a full episode and was waiting for the first Luboffin episode where i was up to date.
I will miss your recaps but it feels like a rite of passage, you helped me get up to speed and i thank you, the critters is such an incredible community, and i am now on reddit looking to find my first D&D campaign ever. Thank you.
i personally think the lore drops and when you get to the deep dive stuff is the best part of your recap videos. cuz there are a ton of recaps but not everyone does the deep dives. so please lean into what is fun for you and brings joy to you. cuz we will feel the joy and so happy for this new chapter
