Wow, just wow! Loving your featured finish object videos. Love your avocado dyed yarn & suri fluff cardigan...so beautiful on you. You've inspired me to make one.
Love your videos! Hello from over the ditch - you gave me the courage to block my first cardigan - it was a chunky number and took 3 days to dry as I steered away from my washing machine xxxx I would love to see a video on how you dyed your yarn x
Haven’t made this particular Petite Knit cardigan but I knit 2 others of her patterns and really love them. I appreciate your comments on using a different closure as opposed to knitted buttonholes. I have some similar concerns with the button band on the Elton Cardigan I am currently knitting. Absolutely love your videos and look forward to them!
Thanks so much! Glad you’re enjoying my channel, I definitely think the poppers with buttons on the front are great for cardis, especially ones for little kids ☺️
I am actually making the same exact cardigan at the moment (my yarn is hot pink)! I find myself knitting more pull-overs than cardigans for the same reason as you. Cardigans are somehow a bit more hassle for me but a good thing about this balloon cardigan is that picking up stitches is minimal :)
I just finished a cardigan as well. I feel you about the purling, there's something about that hand movement. I very much prefer knitting in the round.
The cardigan looks gorgeos could u give me the Link for the yarn that you used because I tried pressing the link in the description but it did not work.
I made this cardigan and I was very disappointed by the pattern. It was my first, and perhaps last, Petite Knit pattern. It didn't come with a schematic and there was so much ease that I basically had to redraft it to make the smallest size smaller (and, while I'm a small person, I'm not tiny). I really loved my finished result but I can't credit the pattern because I changed up every proportion. In the end, I still found it a bit too roomy, so I gave it to my kid (who's much taller than me) and she loves it.
No! I haven't! Gosh that seems so scary but I definitely want to look into it, anything to get away from the endless purl rows, haha.... thank you so much! Glad you have you along :) x
Sorry Ahmed! This is a paid for pattern so it would be a little off for the designer if I showed people how to make it, but the pattern is very well written and there are lots of videos already if you get stuck on the specific techniques. Good luck!
Love the button option! I never thought of that before. I always learn new ideas from you - thank you!
You are so welcome! Glad you find these so useful, that's awesome to hear, thanks for watching! :)

Oh thank you so much, that's so nice of you to say! And yay! Glad I inspired you to make one too :)
I love the idea of snaps instead of regular buttons!

I like the idea of no button holes 😊

Your yarn sounds amazing!! Yes, sweaters/jumpers are so much easier but this will be super satisfying for you when you’re done. Enjoy! ☺️

There really is huh! In the round is much easier to do for a period of time. Thanks so much for watching :)

I guess that’s a win if she loves it..? Such a shame for you though! The patterns aren’t for everyone but I really enjoyed it ☺️
Have you tried steeking? Just found your channel, fab by the way!!!
